An ambitious real estate employee, Tatsuya Ikegami, joins the volunteer fire department in order to make a research for his urban development project. He hides his true identity and doesn't get along well with others.
Heat is a slice of life drama about strong community relationships. The story started nicely, with an interesting, intense story as we were introduced with the members of the fire team and the locals, as well as the main characters life and intentions. As the story progressed, the hero underwent a nice character development, which was interesting and entertaining to watch, along with the small cases. However, the ending was not as good. It felt a bit cliche actually. Some of the stories were cliche as well. So, overall, 6 out of 10.
