The Kiss World amusement park shown in the movie was based on a real concept. In his book "Kiss and Sell: The Making of a Supergroup", C.K. Lendt, who was one of the band's financial managers, said that during the planning and rehearsal stages of the tour to support the group's latest album "Dynasty". Gene Simmons came up with the idea of a portable amusement park, the kind of setup that is put up in shopping mall parking lots, livestock show and rodeos, and carnivals, with all of the rides, games, concessions, and attractions all themed to the four members of Kiss. The park, named Kiss World, would travel with the band and be erected at the arenas where the band would be performing. Lendt looked into the concept and then told the band that such an undertaking would cause them financial trouble. The Kiss World idea was quickly dropped. According to Lendt, the idea didn't last more that two weeks.
You know, you could've cut it off a little earlier, it was kind of gross. I mean, I was right there, I was there!
Daphne Blake: Oh I'm sorry, did you say something, "Frank"?
When Shaggy and Scooby are approaching the Demon as he eats, it is shown that he is eating from a platter of hamburgers and french fries. Scooby and Shaggy bump into his table, knocking the food all on the floor and angering him. The two of them put all the food back on the tray and offer it back hoping he will calm down. But now it is shown to be hot dogs and french fries, not the burgers as previously.
