| Jodorowsky Inspired Adventure
Welcome to Sugartown is the type of small budget film that someone like Alejandro Jodorowsky would love. While it tests your senses, the story remains consistent and really is a great underdog story. You will laugh, you will gasp and you will not regret watching this film.

The set design is astonishing considering the budget of the film and the acting as well delights and surprises. The acting is solid, with Brown and Roman both submitting excellent performances. Throughout, the cast works to bring the twizted vizion of director Matthew Stolarik to life. While some may balk at the use of surrealism, there is no doubt of its effect. The cinematography is gripping and keeps the eye trained on images that you might usually look away from.

Overall, a gripping love story that deserves attention from cinephiles and weekend movie goers alike.
