  • After giving us terrible shows after the other, this was a show they really needed! I have my own thought that any character can be good. Where I am going when I said that is that just because a character is stereotypical doesn't mean that they are a bad character. To me it determines on how said stereotyped is used and this show uses them well. I like how this show satires a whole lot of different people from the dumb blond to the comedic girl to the emo girl and etc. Every character has their own trait that portrays them but this show knows how to go deep into that trait. Almost every character is easily likable and I find the show as a whole really easy to enjoy. A great piece of work from Nickelodeon.
  • The Loud House is the equivalent of Spongebob in terms of quality and viewing. The first two seasons of the show are amazing with likable characters, great comedy, and good morals. The third season was decent , but no where as good as the previous seasons. Then after the third season, this is where I stop watching. The newer seasons aren't that good. The stories are redundant, the characters are different, and the comedy is not that good. It feels like the quality and comedy took a downgrade at the fourth season.

That being said, the show is still good. However, the show overstayed its welcome like Spongebob. Even though the newer Spongebob is a bit more watchable, I'm not sure if the Loud House will improve again; but, it may happen. Either way, I recommend the first two seasons, and maybe the third season but only like several episodes. The show is good for its run, but I prefer the old seasons.

The best way to describes this show is boring. It's very plain and not much to it. I have seen almost 20 episodes of this show but I remember absolutely nothing. Not a bad show by any means, it kinda just exists.
  • Everyone (90's kids!) is saying Nick stinks now!!! Sure there are some bad shows (Sanjay and Craig, Breadwinners etc.) but hey! Cartoon Network and Disney Channel screwed up at one point! And Nick still as good shows that I still enjoy... (Spongebob,Fairly Oddparents!,Harvey Beaks etc.) And now there's the Loud House! The Loud House is just like...AWESOME!!! I love the Loud House! And it's no surprise who created it, Chris Savino who also worked on Hey Arnold! Dexters Lab etc. so it's no surprise he'll create a show like The Loud House, I like the animation style feels like the early 2000's style :) and it's writing is AMAZING!!! I love it and GREAT JOB Nick!! PS will you cancel Sanjay and Craig and Breadwinners PLZ!!!

The SHOW isn't BAD OR anything bit is far FROM great.
  • Finally, after eight years of crappy sitcoms and brain dead cartoons, Nick is finally regaining its' old spirit. not since Avatar has there ever been a show that can truly relate to families everywhere.

the synopsis of the show is about an 11-year-old boy named Lincoln Loud who is part of a family of 10 sisters, each one having diverse, unique personalities that bring out the different sides of Lincoln. There's the first born Lori who constantly texts to her boyfriend, Bobby, and because of being the oldest, believes that she can get whatever she wants amongst her siblings, but despite her condescending attitude, she does care for her brother and sisters. There is the second born Leni who is the stereotypical dumb blonde and, unlike most of the family members, is the nicest person you'll ever meet, but can be taken advantage at times due to her naivety. There's the third born Luna who likes to listen, and play, loud music, along with being skilled in guitar and expressing the punk rock lifestyle. Luan Loud, the fourth born, is an amateur comedian who enjoys playing pranks on her family members and telling terrible jokes, which she is oblivious of the constant groans of her annoyed siblings. Lynn Loud is the fifth oldest sister who is energetic and enjoys playing extreme sports while playing and/or fighting with her brother, Lincoln, much to his chagrin. 8-year-old Lucy Loud is the oddball of the family and a preteen emo/goth girl who enjoys reciting poems of the macabre and hosting seances, despite creeping most of her family members whenever she appears out of nowhere. the twins, Lola and Lana, are polar opposites--one is a spoiled, tattle telling pageant girl while the other is a mud-loving, dumpster diving tomboy--that tends to get into fights dues to their clashing personalities. Lisa is a 4-year-old child prodigy who had skipped several grades and even graduated college early with a ph.d. last but not least is Lilly the baby who enjoys running around naked throughout the house and defecating in her own diaper while exclaiming "poo poo." like any normal baby.

At times, they can get on Lincoln's nerves due to the chaos they bring and sometimes wishes for them to go away (like any kid with siblings), but, most of the time, he loves them and is thankful that he has sisters who love him and has his back.

This show has a well-built storyline, excellent character development, a decent setting with episodes made by brilliant writers, and a protagonist we can all relate to. Along with Harvey Beaks, this is the show that can help bring Nick out of the darkness and into the light and i'm enjoying it every time i watch it.

Ok I know I'm in the minority here, but I actually prefer seasons 1 and 2 over the others. Yes they did have the worst episodes of the series, but I liked Lincoln during these 2 seasons. Even though he screwed up and kept making selfish decisions, he felt more sympathetic and easier to connect with during this time. There were also so many instances where his sisters took him for granted and he forgave them easily, that I feel is an amazing quality anyone could have.

I understand why others feel the opposite because the later season showed more of Lincolns friends and family so the show didn't focus completely on him. Also, they introduce things like having Stella as a friend, Luna liking Sam, Leni getting a job, the parents getting new jobs, even the season 5 stuff like Lori, Lincoln, and Lily starting at new schools. Now, there's nothing wrong with any of this, but as it goes on, its starting to feel like filler episodes so the show isn't as entertaining as it was before. To me, this stuff feels a little too redundant and predictable. It makes the show too happy go lucky.

That's why I like the earlier seasons, because I never expect these bad things to happen and how Lincoln or his sisters would make up for it. Sure the conflict gets resolved quick unrealistically, but it's interesting to see why it happens and how it progresses.

But that's just me, I'm sure others feel differently since I'm a young adult watching this. Or taking a break from watching this.
  • After i watched a couple of episodes of the loud house, i fell in love with it right away. its funny, has great animation, and some of the viewers could relate to it if they have siblings. the loud house is about a boy name Lincoln who lives with his ten siblings and he is the middle child but get this his siblings are all girls. so that means he is the only boy in the house. in the show Lincoln narrates the audience on how to survive with ten girls in the house. I feel like this show is going to keep on entertaining us and will be on nick for a long period of time. so what are you waiting for go watch the show on nick every Monday at 5pm and if you are already watching it good for you!!!

The Loud house is a cartoon that is currently the most popular cartoon from nickelodeon, the show is very good, but, i still have a few issues with the show, but let's start with the positive things that the show have, has fluid animation and Lincoln's sisters have distinct personalities(Lana is my favorite), the episodes have generally subtle morals and the premise is quite interesting, but let's go to the negative things now, the first thing are the continuity errors, who happens frequently on the show and some of them are VERY contradictory,(e.g: Lincoln's parents want him to excercise in "the Loudest yard" but in "Health kicked", his parents are lazier than him), the second thing is the mob mentality that the characters suffer, especially Lincoln's sisters, particularly the tomboyish ones(Lynn, Lana, Luna, Luan and Lisa) who can act very out of character and are often derailed in the same prissy and love-obsessed way just because the writers think that female stereotypes are funny,(e.g: in the episodes "Heavy meddle", "One of the boys" and "Back in black" they are all acting in the same girly and boy-crazy way), the third thing are that there's too much sibling rivalry moments, i know that siblings do fight, but the show exaggerate this by making them fighting about everything! Overall, the show is flawed but is at the same time very decent.

Sad because I really liked this show when it first came out. But nowadays, the fandom is absolutely unbearable. They really ruined the experience for me and many others!
  • This is easily a major comeback for Nickelodeon. In terms of animated series, they weren't doing so well before this show came along, but when it did, I was blown away by it. I can consider it to be one of my favorite cartoons on Nickelodeon, and possibly one of the greatest modern cartoons of all time. I would most certainly recommend this show for those who are looking for great cartoons, because it's definitely one. Everything about it is not just unique, but incredibly creative, which is what brings this show to amazement. Honestly, I could find almost nothing wrong with this show. It is a must watch in my opinion, and Nickelodeon deserves a standing ovation for this masterpiece that returned them to greatness.

The biggest problem I have with the show is the reoccurring selfishness portrayed by Lincoln in almost every episode with each one ending with him learning the same lesson over and over again in which he should be more appreciative and respectful toward his sisters only to seemingly forget that lesson in the episode immediately following it.

The characters are exceedingly stereotypical and that includes the seemingly progressive gay couple with their adopted black son (the diversity for diversity's sake cliché).

And the actual comedy is the same brand of humor that's been well overdone in both animation and sitcoms alike. One tired old cliché after another. Some of which include accidental eavesdropping and misunderstandings, wishing for something better only to learn that the grass isn't always greener, and more.

I found it mildly entertaining overall, but an eventual waste of time when I realized the series offered no new material to animated comedy.

This show is boring and unfunny. You can't call it 'comedy' if all the 'humour' is toilet humour. All the episodes are predictable. And some of the characters are just so annoying. I don't see how this show was so popular.
  • Seasons 1-4 are good, but season 5 sucks, hope the movie is as good as seasons 1-4.
  • I'll admit it! SpongeBob now sucks! But to me, The Loud House happens to be such a great, animated classic, since the kid reflects my personality! Now SpongeBob's not even educational for some reason. I understand it's usually funny throughout the series, but since the character has a job, it's weird that he doesn't have a driver's license, even though he's in his mid-twenties. It's also weird that he ended up failing his driving test about 40 times, but even I know nobody's able to fail THAT many tests. Another thing is that SpongeBob is always living alone with one pet, but with the Loud House, the kid lives with 10 sisters, while having 4 pets. And no, I'm not just comparing the difference between SpongeBob's quiet house and the Loud House with the characters being noisy. But to me, they're not THAT noisy. And that happens to be another problem. SpongeBob's yelling and screaming just happens to be annoying, I mean is that really necessary? Why is it that SpongeBob's always acting like a 5-year old even though he's in his mid-twenties? It doesn't make sense! Even he's not mature since he doesn't have a girlfriend! But in The Loud House, Lincoln's 11-years old and he has a girlfriend who once bullied him before. It's very similar to me, since I started my maturity when I was about 10 years old. But why does this need to happen? I don't understand why SpongeBob can't just go out into the real world and find a girlfriend himself! And, as I said before, is it really necessary since SpongeBob lives on his own with no one to talk to except his pet snail who's always meowing? Not only that, but SpongeBob has a brainless, best friend who lives next-door to his grumpy neighbor Squidward. I mean, his best friend happens to be dumb throughout the series. But Squidward never changes his personality. I mean, ever notice how that jerk is always so grumpy? Well with The Loud House, Lincoln's girlfriend Ronnie Anne ends up changing her personality after they get along with each other in "Save the Date". Even I see that's the difference between those two characters, not that they have anything in common, but the problem with Squidward is that he's usually happy whenever SpongeBob's not around, I mean seriously, why does this guy have to be so, darn aggressive throughout the series? Did the creators thought that it would be a good idea to create a character that only had a grumpy personality? I know Ronnie Anne never stayed that way during her first appearance. And speaking of dumb characters, I noticed that Lincoln has and older sister named Leni who is usually dumb at times, not that it annoys me, but with Patrick, it ends up being irritating whenever he starts acting dumb for some reason. Again, why does it need to happen every moment, and what difference does it make beyond the point that the fact that I can't avoid his stupidity? To me, it's actually funny how Leni can be dumb at times, as I said before. It doesn't feel annoying, but it's classic. I even see a reason why Leni can sometimes not pay attention to what's around her. I mean, even it's nothing compared to Patrick, who's always being dumb at random times throughout the series. Why does he do that so often, and what's the point of adding him into SpongeBob if he's one of the worst, dumbest characters ever created? Again, I mean SpongeBob is in his mid-twenties, but he still doesn't know how to drive. Even his teacher has always been frustrated by every driving test that he failed. He always thinks it's funny just by crashing into things, I mean, didn't his parents teach him how to drive as a kid? His other friends know how to drive, even Patrick, since he got his own license once. And what's the point of him crying over everything, even when he's a young adult? Not only that, but he happens to annoy everyone around him. I mean, how would you like it if you were having a quiet, fine day, and all of a sudden, I pop out of nowhere and start annoying you for a few hours? It's just so darn, retarded! Can this annoying habit of an immature character end? It's nothing compared to those other Nickelodeon shows that aired back in the days. Believe it or not, they even created a new character that was related to SpongeBob, and throughout the episode, he ends up causing chaos. Though, he even states that everything he touches ends up getting ruined. But as far as I'm concerned, this shows sucks! I mean, even I had to write this review in order for me to express my opinion between SpongeBob and The Loud House. But I did it to demonstrate the major differences on how SpongeBob is more annoying than The Loud House. But to me, The Loud House isn't annoying at all. I can't even stand the dreadfulness that SpongeBob does, but it just blows my mind how horrible it is! Again, it doesn't add up to the fact that this dumb, annoying character has been popular for almost about 19 years, since its very first episode in the late 90s or 21st century or whatever. But I mean why? Why is it so bad? If all these problems were changed, then we'd have an era of classic Nickelodeon shows. But history is history, so might as well count The Loud House as the next era of classic Nickelodeon shows, and leave that awful, annoying character behind. As it stands today, I just stated my opinion between SpongeBob and The Loud House. I will continue to watch The Loud House as long as Lincoln still has his relationship with his girlfriend, Ronnie Anne. Thank you for listening. Goodnight!.........The movies suck too!
  • Warning: Spoilers
I can see why people like this series (and its spin-off Los Casagrandes): This series might not be on par with classic Nicktoons as Hey Arnold, Rocko's Modern Life or Avatar: The Last Airbender, but it's fun to watch, and has likeable characters. The stories are simple but wholesome, and remind me of some newspaper comic-strips.

I think the show is cute, and hope it continues in the future. The live-action Christmas movie, on the other side, was quite aqful, reminding me of the trashy series by Dan Schneider; Nickelodeon (And Disney) should stop doing these horrible trashy live-action series nobody asked.
  • The show is about an 11 year old boy living with his ten sisters. The plot for this show is very compelling and it makes me think that Nick has a shot of redeeming itself. I really like the character development here and even though there is some gross out humor, there isn't much and it is mild. I personally like Harvey Beaks and with two good shows in a row, Nick is on the right track. I especially love the animation and with the panels in the title sequence takes me back. Honestly, I think Lincoln is the least interesting character in this show(aside from Clyde). He is a likable enough main character, but it is more interesting in my case to learn more about his siblings. Finally, the best part of this show is the fact that you can relate to it and I relate well because I grew up in a large family. I think you should check this show out and maybe, just maybe Nick can dig itself out of the hole they have crawled into.
  • 'The Loud House' is a very unique show, managing to show a new light on classic imagery, and sometimes on strict beliefs and views, without losing the identity of a kid-friendly show, making not only children laugh, but can also amuse teens and adults. However, it does not fall short on the storytelling front, and can deliver a good message, alongside with it's good humor and quality traits.

The show is filled with charming characters, which paired with excellent voice acting makes for someone you can actually root for, and feel both the pain and joy that the character experiences as well. With the plots, 'The Loud House' is able to take basic or suggestive themes and turn it into a humorous, colorful and moving story that can not be called a rip-off of another story or basic plotline.

Any suggestions? Mostly those bits and pieces that will make those older viewers uncomfortable or cringe inside, i.e. potty humor, are things that annoy me, and most definitely annoy others. However, it is never-the-less a good show and I recommend it to watch if you are looking for a good source of entertainment.
  • Wow. I mean wow. How is that even possible? First, Stephen Hillenburg returns to Spongebob, then Nick announces the cancellation of Breadwinners, now shows like Harvey Beaks and The Loud House? I mean, these 2 new shows have the good things about Nick in it! I'm doing The Loud House now, since it has bigger ratings. Unlike new Nick shows, it breaks the 4th wall, but in a good way, because Lincoln, the main character of the show, explains some of his problems, and solutions, to some of his, and his 10 sisters, adventures! Let me explain the good things about this show! 1: The voice acting really fits each sibling's personality, since each sibling DOES have a different one. 2: The animation has really smooth movements, and the characters were drawn out really well, with their emotions. At first, I thought the animation was like TTG, but until I remembered shows like Wonder over Yonder, and Kick Buttowski, which were great shows, compared to TTG. 3: The adventures of the show are pretty realistic, with some you probably ran into! 4: The jokes and gags in this show are actually kind of funny, while the gags are used frequently. One of the gags is that Leni acts kind of silly. 5: Yes, there is gross-out jokes, but at least they do them right! According to MrEnter, how gross-out humor works, is that it has to be the character is suffering of some sorts, but it doesn't when it's just there. But here, it's used right! Now, if you're reading this, I highly recommend this good show!
  • This is honestly a good cartoon for young children, but I feel it could do a lot better with more funny jokes, and less pee-poop jokes.
  • Really, I would give it more chances in the future, but it declined so much, and the fandom is absolutely unbearable, I decided to just stop watching it all together. It's mainly the fandom on why I don't like this show anymore. The fandom is so entitled and unbearable, it's making me ashamed of ever being a fan of this show to begin with, and I think the creators are making the show decline on purpose.
  • Warning: Spoilers
The Loud house is a savior on Nick. This and Harvey Beaks can save the network. For the initial review, I will be going over the plot and how it is well developed. (Initial plot, not really spoilers) So this show is about a boy and 10 girls in one house. This boy shows his everyday life story's with these sisters. Sounds like a cliché plot but it has really good episodes.(Some spoilers here) This show is pretty humorous, a kid named Clyde, the main characters friend is in love with the oldest sister and his nose bleeds when he sees her (like a lot) and she screams and runs away. It teaches morals to kids, has great humor, and each character is very well developed. The characters are getting into their back stories based on how they act due to their addiction to a certain thing such as sports or music. It does have little toilet humor (very generic type of humor) and the characters can act cliché sometime. But it can definitely save Nick from the dead with Harvey Beaks as a happy brother that likes to support his doings. The Loud House is a 9 for me +well developing characters +good morals +good humor

+some cliché moments and toilet humor
  • the loud house is a good show it's not one of the best nickelodeon shows ever but it's still a good show it's about lincoin and his 10 sisters doing crazy stuff inside the house they don't go on adventures but the loud house is a pretty good show i'm not saying that the show is terrible but the show is good in my book the plot is good the animation looks like peanuts and the characters can get pretty annoying sometimes when lincoin talks to the viewers about his life your something that gets annoying in every episode i heard there making a loud house movie in year 2020 which i'm not exitced about the loud house is not my favorite show but it's not gonna be popular then spongebob spongebob is my favourite nickelodeon show ever spongebob is the mascot of nickelodeon well exactly spongebob is the mascot of all cartoons out there so i do not know if lincoin loud can be the mascot of nickelodeon or the mascot of cartoons but i don't know the loud house came out last year and a lot of people like it i like it but it's not my favorite show of all time so i will give the loud house a 7/10 because the show is good so nickelodeon is doing good right now but nickelodeon is not gonna be good in 2018 because there making a crappy show called pinky malinky in 2018 so pinky malinky will be terrible
  • This show back when it first aired was actually really promising! This show had so many memorable episodes in its' first 3 seasons... but then season 4 came around and they decided to take the show in a new direction. Which in the long run has really hurt this show. I don't have much to say, just go watch Cartoonshi's review on this show, it's worth a watch.

Worst episodes: Schooled, Brawl in the Family, The Taunting Hour, No Such Luck, and House Flip Best episodes: Everybody Loves Leni, Shop Girl, For Bros About to Rock, Project Loud House, and A Dark and Story Night.
  • The Loud House is easily one of the best NickToons currently airing. I love the characters, the unique art style, and the relatable situations each character goes through. Not every plot is necessarily original, but I'm always enticed about what will happen next. Don't let the fact that the creator was a pervert ruin the show for you. John Lasseter was accused of sexual harassment and his Toy Story films are still great. I just hope this franchise doesn't decline like The Fairly OddParents' did.
