When the gyro sphere hits the water (along with the lava bombs and pyroclastic flow) the water is surprisingly clear. S clear in fact that the characters can see objects in the water as well as the gyro sphere itself. With all of the debris (and dinosaurs) falling into the water, this should not be possible.
