Max Cool falls in my pantheon somewhere between Max Headroom and Max Hardcore, something of a hack but not intolerable. Like all things British, his work is an acquired taste.
This offering is just a little too on-the-nose for its own good. Title telegraphs that the action takes place in a sauna, and that makes for a claustrophobic porn exercise. Coming to Max's rescue, as is often the case in a video from Bluebird Films, is the top-heavy cast of actresses referred to by the proprietors as Glambirds.
Heaviest of these is Jasmine Black, no stranger to gonzoland, and always an enthusiastic performer. For big breasts she is well-matched by Katie Kaliana and Stacey Saran, while reliable Valery Summer and little-known Harvey Jay (yes a girl named Harvey) bring up the rear.
Opening vignette has Jasmine playing dumb (no speakee the English) and having her way with a hapless gent who for some unknown reason wants decorum in the sauna rather than the sight of a naked girl. Why he's rewarded with sex is beyond me.
Jamie Barry is blessed with a threesome, while Saran makes her usual fine impression cast as a masseuse. Star Katie Kaliana graduates from the threesome to a one-on-one scene wearing patent-leather boots and fishnet stockings.
Fishnets reappear on Valery Summer in the finale where she portrays a phoned-in escort. Not much scripting here, but then again we didn't tune in to watch Benny Hill but rather some of the old in & out, and Cool delivers same.
