Routine soap opera by Stormy
Stormy Daniels in hyphenate form wrote, directed and starred in this forgettable Wicked release. It's just not very interesting, perhaps a script that needed but failed to get the proper doctoring before shooting began.
Suspense is okay at first, as a car crash changes Stormy's life and we watch patiently as her personality and behavior change. Danny Mountain plays her hapless and helpless husband, whom Stormy accuses of philandering, but that's all part of her malady.
A decade or two this might have worked as a Wicked quickie running under 90 minutes, but clocking in at 132 it is hopelessly padded with endless sex scenes interrupting the story. In particular, a completely extraneous sex scene involving Stormy's sister Dahlia Sky and Sky's husband Michael Vegas is tossed in randomly.
Acting is good on the level of soap opera, but a straight thriller would have been far more exciting. When all is explained before the end credits roll by her doctor (Kyle Stone in one of many surprise cameos), I was left with a "who cares?" feeling.
