Decades after her original visit, the magical nanny returns to help the Banks siblings and Michael's children through a difficult time in their lives.
For the fantastic scenes where Mary Poppins takes the Banks children on extraordinary adventures, director Rob Marshall decided to use the traditional style of hand-drawn animation, as he wanted the audience to regain the nostalgia of the first film.
