safenoe24 February 2024Wow, I'll never forget this video, and it's hard to believe it was released over 20 years ago, yes it was released in 2001 and wow, that's over two decades ago.
Christopher Walken is the star in this video, and it's a long way from his days from The Deer Hunter, and it was directed by Spike "Being John Malkovich" Jonze. Anyway, this amazing video was filmed in the lobby of the Marriott Hotel (now the L. A. Grand Hotel Downtown) in Los Angeles in December 2000, and I would have loved to be on-set for the filming of this video and seeing how the dancing was done, with Walken gliding gracefully through the lobby while demonstrating his awesome dance moves. -
Horst_In_Translation31 October 2015"Weapon of Choice" is a song from famous music artist Fatboy Slim from almost 15 years ago and these almost 4 minutes are the music video that goes with it. Strictly speaking, it just a man dancing and jumping around for 4 minutes and that is nothing too exciting. However, this is not the whole story. First of all, the man is Christopher Walken and if you are only aware of his dancing in "Catch Me If You Can", you will be in for a surprise here. He really unleashes. The music is pretty good too. Not my favorite Fatboy Slim song, but very catchy I must say. And finally, the director is the very talented Spike Jonze. This trio makes this little video work. Good watch in my opinion and I recommend it.
