Years after the annulment of their spontaneous marriage a couple discovers a mistake in the paperwork that means they are still husband and wife.
The character name for the chauffeur, Hector (portrayed by Bill Dow), is a reference to the chauffeur character in The Princess Diaries (2001), named Joe, but portrayed by Hector Elizondo, Other than the obvious commonality of both characters being chauffeurs; both characters are also fully bald on top; both are later middle age; both drive black Lincoln Town Car limousines; both are fiercely loyal with clear affection for both their employer and their fish out of water new female charge; both generally only speak in response to a question or otherwise being spoken to, until taking the initiative to offer advice at one crucial turning point late in the film, first to one leading character, and then separately to the other leading character; both knowingly watch the back seat through the rear view mirror, occasionally nodding approval; and lastly, both are confirmed to be members of the leading character's family, and that they always will be..
When leaving Ben's office after the reunion, Ben offers to set Annie up in the Corporate suite. He then leaves with his partner and Annie leaves with the driver Hector. In the next scene Annie is at a cafe. Ben arrives and when they leave Ben again offers to have Hector to the Corporate suite.
