Debbie Ocean gathers an all-female crew to attempt an impossible heist at New York City's yearly Met Gala.
The Met event, where the robbery is intended to occur, is an annual gala sponsored and hosted by Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of fashion magazine Vogue, who plays herself in the movie. Anna Wintour was also the inspiration for Miranda Priestly, the boss of Anne Hathaway in The Devil Wears Prada (2006).
I know you're there, Reuben. You can come on out.
Reuben: I was just paying my respects.
Debbie Ocean: From around the corner? What are you doing here?
Reuben: They thought I'd be the best one to talk to you.
Debbie Ocean: Hmm. Gotta go.
Reuben: He didn't want you to do this, Deborah.
Debbie Ocean: DO what?
When Debbie Ocean bumps into her former fiancee Claude Becker at the bar he doesn't recognize her voice even after a few sentences, not even when she talks to him in her signature German.
