Young computer hacker Lisbeth Salander and journalist Mikael Blomkvist find themselves caught in a web of spies, cybercriminals and corrupt government officials.
Millenium: The Girl in the Spider's Web is the adaptation of the book by David Lagercrantz, who took over the Millenium saga after the death of Stieg Larsson. Fede Alvarez's film is not a reboot of the saga, nor the direct sequel to David Fincher's feature film released in 2011.

When the 2 cars are on the bridge by the port, the front car stops at an angle. When the man gets out of the car to shoot, the car is now straight, later it is shown back at the angle again.
In Singapore; the theatrical release was edited in order to obtain an NC16 classification (after the uncut version was passed M18); the distributor chose to remove brief sexual images in three scenes (sight of two characters having sex on a mobile phone screen, a shot of full female nudity and some discreet sexual images in a nightclub). The film remains uncut in all other countries worldwide.
