Karoline Herfurth is giving a highly successfull debut as a first time director. Adapted from a book by Sofie Cramer the movie tells the story of a woman who lost the great love of her life. Two years after his death she's still sending texts to his old phone number. Unbekownst to her the number is in use again. The new owner of the phone is touched by the messages received and starts looking for the sender.
The acting in this movie is superb. Especially convincing is Friedrich Mücke as Mark, who easily navigates the difficulties so often faced by actors in a romantic comedy. The story unfolds in an organic way. The side characters give it a balance and make for a great ensemble cast. The score by Annette Focks is an amazing addition that serves the purpose of the story. The same can be said about the carefully selected songs, making the soundtrack all in all a great experience.
Don't miss this movie.
