Andrea Bocelli goes to the movies with a little help from a few friends. John Travolta and Andy Garcia appear to introduce some of the songs.
Nicole Scherzinger is one of the collaborators. Composer David Foster leads the orchestration and has some mini interviews with Bocelli.
It starts off with Maria from West Side Story, rattles though some Italian or Italian origin composers such as Ennio Morricone, Carlos Gardel and Henry Mancini
E più ti penso from Once Upon a Time in America. Sorridi amore vai from Life Is Beautiful. Brucia la Terra from The Godfather.
An eclectic mix but it was all a bit too safe. I could had done without the fawning from Foster. Platitudes such as you were born to sing this song, no one could do it better.
