The sequence where the group is unwrapping all the explosives and the huge explosion were filmed on August 23, 2016 & The entire Walker sequence and moving the cars where filmed on August 24, 2016.

The stretch of highway used for the scene where the herd is cut in half by steel cables attached to cars, was filmed in just 2 days. (August 23rd-24th, 2016) and had been previously used in Season 2, Episode 1, The Walking Dead: What Lies Ahead (2011) when Sophia (Madison Lintz) goes missing.
