There has apparently been a seven-year gap between the intro and main part of the film. However, in this time the male sidekick has gotten married and had three children, all of whom appear over seven years old at the skating rink.
The main female lead mentions she has not been ice skating in 7 years to the male lead (the time they have been apart) and then later states to her assistant she hasn't been in 15 years.
At 1:05 onward the lead character gets a piece of paper from the tray and places it on the folder. However it keeps appearing / disappearing depending on the shot.
In the early part of the movie, the male lead is seen visiting the female lead in her apartment, and he is clearly very comfortable there and familiar with it. Seven years later, when he returns to New York, he again visits her in her apartment - the same one - but explains that he asked the woman's boss for her address and hopes that was all right.
Brie's surname is mentioned several times as Traverston. In the end credits, it is listed as Traver.
