I just sw this one; after an hour I could put up with the boredom I was suffering. I have seen better british thrillers (less favorites ones) that this one. Besides it had a kind of romance here and there.

TheRealDinDjarin12 November 2019Everything is ridiculous in this movie, from the characters who are completely unrealistic to the pointless storyline and bizarre twists. The main actor is terrible and makes you want to laugh when you should be scared... I discovered this movie during its premiere in Deauville and it was such an embarrassing moment, with everybody leaving the theater during what the director wanted to be the climax. This movie is a waste of time and a big accident in Sophie Turner's career...

Heck is it even Love Actually or, I know....Requiem for a Dream? NO It's not. Everyone needs to learn not to trust any reviews on this site.

bigkountrycaine15 February 2021I don't understand why all the hype about Sophie Turner, she wasn't even good in Game of Thrones. But Heavy is a pretty good watch do not pay any attention to the reviews that put Sophia Turner on a pedestal maybe her friends and family. She is basic in this film too.

sulwahid21 April 2022I lived in the apartment building in Toronto where they filmed the scene where the boy knocks on the door, someone opens it and all hell breaks loose. Prior to filming the scene, a nice lady knocked on my door and said that they were going to be filming a scene in the apartment opposite mine and wanted to notify me of the noise that I would hear in the afternoon. I told her, cool!!! Would there be a shot of my apartment's door? She said yes, I told her deal!!!! The next thing I see is a crisp $100 dollar bill in her hand handing it over to me.
So, I have not watched the movie, yet, but I have earned $100 out of its budget. Can you say that? I can :) -
michelle_valerino12 September 2019The story rings true in New York.There is always a Bonnie and Clyde type couple for every decade in NYC. The street kids coming from nothing into living the high life of the drug scene only to get burned in the end.

helene_olivier10 February 2021I watched the movie for Sophie Turner essentially and I was so happy to see her in this character. She's touching, beautiful and her acting is perfect. What a great actress! I also loved Daniel Zovatto's acting. I didn't know him a lot and discovered an actor who deserves to be more on big screen! The general mood of the movie was very interesting, I can say I loved it! Great movie!
