No More Mr. Nice Guy - The Music of Shocker (2015)
**** (out of 4)
Desmond Child, Kane Roberts, Bruce Kulick, David Ellefson, Jason McMaster and Mitch Pileggi take part in this 26 minute featurette about the soundtrack to Wes Craven's SHOCKER. Child is the main focus as he talks about how he got involved in the project and what type of music Craven was wanting. The rest of the men discuss being brought onto the project and what their ideas for the soundtrack were. Pileggi, who plays the killer in the movie, gets to discuss what it was like working with Alice Cooper.
If you're a fan of the movie, the soundtrack or the likes of Alice Cooper and Megadeath then you'll certainly want to check this out as it really does give you a great idea of what it's like getting everyone to come together for a soundtrack like this. Everyone tells some pretty great stories about the production of the album and what it was like seeing the songs used in the actual film. This here is certainly a must-see if you're a fan of this stuff.
