Nikki and Ray's retaliation has consequences for Emmit. Meanwhile, Gloria and Winnie start connecting the dots.
What I Liked:
The cinematography is solid, and each scene perfectly implements its well-crafted and memorable music score. On top of that, each actor gives a strong performance.
V. M. Varga is a terrific character, played wonderfully by David Thewlis, stealing every scene he appears. I can't wait to see how his plans unfold.
What I Disliked:
Moe Dammick seems more like a foil for Gloria than an actual character. Why is he trying so hard to impede and undermine her investigation?
Overall:
Fargo delivers another high-quality episode in a mostly solid season to this point. One can only surmise this season will continue to improve.
8/10
