  • Amusing, heartful, modern but mediocre Spanish comedy with usual ingredients such as love stories, romantic incidents, confusion and mayhem. It deals with Sara, Veronica Echegui, she is a costume designer, and has a little successful shop called Ave Del Paraiso in Madrid. She has a fiance, David Verdaguer, who usually works abroad, in Paris and, a bit later on, in Hong Kong. That's why they have to communicate themselves by email and making love by means of laptop. By the way Sara again falls in love with an old flame, Alex Garcia, a musician with recent success, but he is involved with her sister Lu, Alba Galoche. Things go awry , when she goes Hong Kong to live with her boyfriend, but then he breaks with her.

It concerns a group of Madrid-based roles, all of them will have to find out that they understand how the love should be. They are peculiar, rare and misfit bunch of characters who establish disconcerting loving relationships among them. The tone of the movie is light-hearted as well as moving and humorous. Concerning various love stories, charming romances, dealing superficially the human relations, couples breaking , new friendships and anything else. Likeable acting by Veronica Echegui as a feather-fashion designer who tumbles into a lot of fateful romantic adventures. As she goes China accompanying his boyfriend, David Verdaguer, but he left her, along the way she falls in love for a long-lost high school crush. The sympathetic, endearing starring Veronica Echegui is well accompanied by a fine support cast, such as David Vergader, Alba Galoche, Cecilia Freire and James Williams as a funny Scottish. Special mention for Jordi Sanchez and Elvira Minguez as the offbeat marriage who provoke a lot of laughs.

It contains a jolly and lively musical score by Simon Smith, adding wonderful songs. As well as colorful and brilliant cinematography by cameraman Paul Castejon. The motion picture was regularly directed by Maria Ripoll. She is considered to be one of the best director women. She began as an assistant director and writer. Subsequently, directing shorts and films. Ripoll is a comedy expert including Tortilla Soup, Your life in 65 and Ahora o nunca with Dani Rovira, Maria Valverde, Clara Lago and Lluvia en los zapatos with Penelope Cruz, Lena Headey, Douglas Henshall. Maria Ripoll boasts to get together great international cast for his films including Hector Helizondo, Mark Strong, Elizabeth Peña, Leonardo Sbaraglia, Lena Headey and Penelope Cruz. His last film is Vivir 2 veces with Imma Cuesta. Rating 4.5/10. So-so romantic comedy.
  • This romantic comedy has trouble figuring out the comedy part. Some bits are funny, even hilarious, while too many attempts at humor just fall flat. What redeemed the whole movie, even during the low points when you're thinking about shutting it off, is the charming likeable lead. You love her even when you hate the movie.
  • Hipster culture has taken over a good portion of Spanish cinema of late. This one is a hipster chick flick comedy. A nerdy twenty-something girl with creative aspirations develops romantic feelings for two hipster guys - and sees herself torn between the two. These two men and a motley crew of other hipster-approved characters push and pull at the direction that she has set out for herself in life, which is also the platform for a great many slapstick scenes. Some of the humour is very quick and subtle, and that's when the film is at best. But this film is also a bit of a cheese fest with plenty of scenes where the characters are trying hard to be cool and "different" whilst being extremely predictable and unexciting. In that respect this film sums up hipster culture in general.
  • The character portrayed by Verónica Echegui (Sara) is spectacular! This is a really funny movie with excellent acting and a very good script. The characters development is amazing and you will feel satisfied at the end. I'm rating a 9/10 to this movie.
