The last film by
Tim Kincaid to be made for a theatrical release. Ten years later, in an interview he said: "Something just happened after making
Heatstroke (1982), I think. I just felt that I'd said all I had to say, and I really wanted to do other things. But people just kept coming to me with offers I really couldn't refuse, because it was good money. And I'd equivocate and then say 'Okay.' But my heart wasn't really in it. I just thought, 'This isn't any good. What I'm really doing is ripping off the audience here. I'm not into this, it's not interesting to me, it's very old stuff, and I don't care to do it anymore.'"
