Teena McGuire (Anna Hutchison) a young mother walks home with her daughter Bethie (Talitha Eliana Bateman) after attending a July 4th party. But, Teena and Bethie run into punks Marv Fick (Joshua Mikel) and his two brothers Lloyd (Rocco Nugent) Jimmy (Joe Ochterbeck) and their friend Fritz (Carter Burch) and the Fick brothers attack and rapes Teena. The 3 brothers are arrested and are forced to stand trial. At the trial, the Fick brother's slimy lawyer Jay Kirkpatrick (Don Johnson) convinces Judge Schprio (Mike Pniewski) and the jury that the Fick brothers are not at fault and had done nothing wrong and that Teena is not the victim and the Fick brothers are found not guilty and they get away with their crime and the verdict deeply angers the police officer whom investigate the case Detective John Dromoor (Nicolas Cage) whom met Teena one night at a bar. As the Fick brothers begin cruelly taunting Teena and Bethie, a bitter Detective Dromoor feeling the justice system has failed Teena decides he's had enough of the Fick Brothers and he decides to unleash vigilante justice upon them for what they did to Teena.
