"The Brawler" 3/10 🌠🌠🌠 That dialogue from a bar scene was the high point of this movie and the only time I laughed so with that being said I don't know how anybody could give this movie a better rating than a 4 maybe they did it as a joke because that's exactly what this movie is. It's about a two bit boxer who gets a lot of chances at making it big but can't seem to keep it together and goes through various failures in life. It stars Zach McGowan who's best role was a pirate captain in the cable series "Black Sails". He's definitely a good actor but this black comedy / biography also features him narrating throughout the whole film is not his strong suit. But I wouldn't blame him the storyline and dialogue are terrible. Even the look of this film is aggravating it kinda has the feel of a play but "Dogville" was genius this film's a cinematic disaster. The pace of the movie moves quick and a lot of things happen so it's not boring per se it's just not very good. With so much over the top acting and bad impersonations of real people like Muhammad Ali or Sly Stallone it begs to wonder why they didn't just scrap this movie instead of releasing it and embarrassing everyone who was involved. Definitely a waste of time, This flick you should skip it's Bad from beginning to end.
