| Not as good as season 1
After season 1, I was excited for season 2 which is called Root A for some reason (stupid title). And while I liked most of it, it's not as good as season 1. The story is kinda weird. Kaneki decides to join the group of people that tortured him to get stronger, which just makes you ask, "why?" The animation is still good, but tends to feel kinda stilted and tired. Character design is okay, still not a fan of all the colors, and the fight scenes are pretty dry. The characters are likable for the most part, but some of them are just whatever. You get used to Akira as the show goes on. I think the voice acting is still good, the music is still phenomenal, and the runtime is pretty okay. It's still not all that accurate to the manga so that's gonna piss people off
