A boy and his gas mask
Gas masks are standard bondage paraphernalia, while they merely look strange to us straight (read: square) folk. Not the WWI or WWII variety but rather specialized rubber gas masks are spotlighted in these videos from Brit pornographer Kendo.
The title sounds pretentious, because Mr. K is just that. He's not content to grind out hundreds of mindless porno videos, but attempts to stylize them in such a way that the viewer keeps wondering: "what does it all mean?" I continue to watch them but have given up the quest for enlightenment.
The five XXX segments are certainly erotic as our masked dudes and sometimes masked actresses paw at each other or in the femme case stick things into their orifices. Rubber, PVC and latex fans are the target audience, and even after watching several of the maestro's exercises in this genre I remain baffled at the voyeur appeal for a fetish that is absolutely and positively a tactile one. I would expect that as entertainment inevitably moves in the direction of Virtual Reality, the long-awaited Aldous Huxley prognosticated "feelies" will solve this riddle.
It's the usual Kendo pantomime with the occasional "Oh, yeah!" and "Oh, baby!" of porn-speak qualifying it as marginally an English-language production. Sex takes place outdoors with the sun beating down mercilessly on the bondagettes. Troupers like Poppy Morgan, Danny Mountain and the ubiquitous (a decade back) Pascal White are lost under the masks.
