When A Drunk Jennifer lawrence Puked At Madonna’s Party & Got A reaction From Miley Cyrus. (Photo Credit – Instagram)
Jennifer Lawrence has quite a few fun stories in her collection, and in one of them, she did something gross at the Oscars after the party of the legendary music artist Madonna. But the cherry on the cake was that it allegedly happened in front of Miley Cyrus. Needless to say, there is a controversy between Miley and Jennifer surrounding the former’s ex Liam Hemsworth.
Lawrence once implied that she and Hemsworth had locked lips with behind the scenes. People soon started speculating that their kiss coincided with Liam’s on-again-off-again relationship with Miley, making them believe he might have cheated on the Flowers songstress. But the Hunger Games actress clarified it and said it was years after the couple broke up. People’s assumption became stronger when Miley donned...

Miley Cyrus debuted on the Disney Channel portraying an iconic character that had the best of both worlds – Hannah Montana. However, it turns out that she faced some stiff competition for the role.
The 31-year-old “Flowers” superstar was only 13 years old when she was cast as the pop star who hid her offstage identity behind a blonde wig.
She stuck with the role until 2011, releasing music and even starring in a movie inspired by the character. After that, Miley went on to launch her solo music career, becoming the Grammy winning sensation she is today.
Believe it or not, Hannah Montana: The Movie turned 15 on Wednesday (April 10).
In honor of the anniversary, we did some digging to see who else could have been Hannah and discovered five actresses that auditioned for the part before Miley was cast. The list includes several other Disney Channel stars as well as a few musicians.

Miley Cyrus isn’t a rock singer, but she’s drawn a lot of influence from classic rock stars over the years. For example, one of her hits has some lyrical similarities to The Beatles’ “Help!” While many of The Beatles’ early songs were total fiction, John Lennon revealed that “Help!” was about his own life. The “Imagine” singer said that “Help!” was widely misinterpreted.
Miley Cyrus and The Beatles both showed a unique understanding of time
Love her or hate her, Cyrus’ career has had a lot of different textures. She’s released party songs (“We Can’t Stop”), soft-rock songs (“Mailbu”), disco tracks (“Flowers”), and an entire album of psychedelic experiments called Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz. One of her more famous ballads is her hit “Younger Now” from her country-inspired record of the same title.

Ariana Grande’s “Eternal Sunshine” has been somewhat of a surprise smash hit, right? While Grande has always been a huge star, it did seem like her star power had been gradually decreasing since her 2020 release, “Positions,” which did well by any pop star’s standards, but was a bit muted in the long run compared to her previous blockbuster “Thank U, Next.” Grande then faced public scrutiny in 2023 due to rumors surrounding her and “Wicked” co-star Ethan Slater, with speculation that Slater was still married and with a newborn child when he and Grande began a relationship. While those stories have been challenged, there was still the possibility of damage to her career.

That was not the case though. “Eternal Sunshine” debuted with 227,000 units in its first week in the US alone, more than 50,000 units better than her last album.

Ace designer Ranna Gill’s show at the Lakmé Fashion Week x Fdci was worth every dime as her collection and her showstopper took everyone’s breath away. Talking about the collection, Gill said: “It’s an urban lady who lives a busy urban life but has her head stuck in a prairie. So, here’s Madhuri Dixit our urban prairie.”
From “Flowers” to “Bella Ciao” and “Titanium” were played by a live musician on the saxophone and the flute as models, who seemed to take a dip in liquid gold, as they shimmered in Gill’s collection “Urban Prairie” strutted the runway.
But the best was saved for the last. The runway lit up with camera flashlights as the audiences didn’t want to click a glimpse of the epitome of beauty Madhuri Dixiti Nene, who in every sense looked confident and luxe in the creation by Gill.

The Dune fanbase, which includes both film and novel fans, doesn’t spare anyone when you go after the franchise. Actor Jason Momoa learned this the hard way as he was bombarded with negative comments after he claimed that Duncan Idaho is not a “cool name.” After playing the character in Dune (2021), the actor believes that he has played characters with cooler names than Duncan Idaho.

In the Dune universe, Duncan Idaho was a Ginaz Swordmaster. He is the only character to feature in all six of Herbert’s original Dune novels. Just like the novel, Momoa’s Duncan Idaho was the swordmaster of House Atreides and one of Paul’s mentors. Unfortunately, the character didn’t return for the sequel, Dune: Part Two (2024).

“I Love You Forever” has all the trappings of a romantic comedy, for better or worse. In the whipsmart millennial-skewing film where you’re old if you’ve been caught using a third-generation iPhone, there’s something charmingly antiquated about the scene filmmakers Cazzie David and Elisa Kalani set around Mackenzie (Sofia Black D’Elia), a law student who has a pair of bickering best friends (Jon Rudnitsky and Cazzie David) to constantly amuse her and a personal life punctuated by Jessica Simpson and Michelle Branch needle drops. Such retro touches aside, their subversive spin on the genre doesn’t seem as if it could’ve been made any earlier than 2024, amid talk that emotional manipulation in a relationship can be every bit as pernicious as physical abuse, as Mackenzie experiences when she falls for the wrong guy.
For previous generations, the wrong guy was more likely to resemble Mark Wahlberg in “Fear,...

Miley Cyrus recently performed a powerhouse rendition of Talking Heads’ 1977 classic “Psycho Killer” during a stripped-down set at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.
No stranger to covers of iconic songs, the pop star began her version of “Psycho Killer” with alternative lyrics before launching into the track’s chorus. Watch a clip of the performance below, followed by the original song.
The live cover comes after it was announced in January that Cyrus will be involved in an upcoming tribute album version of Talking Heads’ Stop Making Sense from A24. The 16-track project will see artists including Paramore (who already released their cover of “Burning Down the House”), Lorde, and The National covering songs from the band’s soundtrack to their 1984 concert film, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.

Israel’s public broadcaster has reversed its previous stance and will request an alteration of lyrics to a song under consideration for this year’s Eurovision competition.
The European Broadcasting Union (Ebu), which organizes Eurovision, was reportedly preparing to bar the song last week for breaking rules on political neutrality in song lyrics. Artist Eden Golan’s Israel entry, October Rain, contains what could be deemed references to Hamas’ October 7 attack on Israel.
Israeli broadcaster Kan, which will determine which song enters Eurovision for the country, pledged last week that it wouldn’t request any alteration of the lyrics. But Israel’s President Isaac Herzog today called for “necessary adjustments” to ensure Israel can enter the show.
Kan issued a statement on Sunday saying it had asked the lyricists of both songs under consideration to “readapt the texts, while preserving their artistic freedom.” It is also reportedly considering a song called Dance Forever.

Miley Cyrus and Pharrell Williams are back with their latest collaboration: “Doctor (Work It Out),” a funky love song that’s finally arrived years after the two artists first began working on it.
Reportedly first written for Cyrus’ 2013 album Bangerz, “Doctor (Work It Out)” is the fifth collaborative track between the “Flowers” singer and Pharrell, and their first to be a released in a decade. The song was initially scrapped, but picked up again and re-recorded in 2023.
Musically, it’s a lustful bop that combines Pharrell’s knack for easy-flowing pop with Cyrus’ signature glam-twang, with a chorus that’ll easily get stuck in your head to boot. Along with its release comes a music video directed by Jacob Bixenman. Watch it below.

The musical seeds that Miley Cyrus and Pharrell Williams planted more than a decade ago are in full bloom on their newly-released single “Doctor (Work It Out).” The song, which was first created in 2012 around the time that Cyrus was working on her 2013 album Bangerz, leaked online in 2017, but the new and improved version marks their first official collaboration since 2014.

“The movie allowed us to be honest in a way that I don’t think we would have been able to achieve had it not been for — had it not been like an assignment,” says Billie Eilish about writing the weepy and moving Barbie ballad “What Was I Made For?”
While meant to be the aorta soul song for Warner Bros. summer blockbuster, the tune is so quintessential Eilish and bro/collaborator Finneas O’Connell: Self-reflective, piercing, poetic, and utterly emotional. How does one not break out crying when listening to it? It’s no wonder that “What Was I Made For?” won Song of the Year at the Grammys (one of two trophies in addition to Best Song Written for Visual Media). Jennifer Lopez has spent the better part of her career navigating the two halves of her public persona: Bronx-born girl next door “Jenny from the block” and Hollywood power player “J.Lo.” Though much of the tension between the two has been amplified by media coverage that spans calculated marketing campaigns and inescapable paparazzi scrutiny, Lopez has frequently seemed to capitulate to whichever of the two serves her best at the time.
“This is Me…Now: A Love Story” is, on its face, the visual component of her self-funded ninth studio album, and at a reported $20 million price tag it’s easy to see it first and foremost as an advertisement. But as not only the subject but star, co-writer and executive producer of an interlinked series of music videos, Lopez showcases above all else how tough it is to express oneself personally after more than 30 years in the public eye,...

YouTube is building Shorts into a key feature for the platform’s community of musical artists. In a blog post, YouTube announced Remix, a collection of editing tools that help fans repurpose the biggest moments from their favorite music videos.
By tapping a Remix button that will appear next to YouTube music videos, creators can incorporate elements of those videos in four different ways. The Sound option brings the original audio to the remixed Short; Collab sets up a split-screen response reminiscent of TikTok’s Stitches; Green Screen exports the original video to the background of the Remix; and the Cut tool allows users to clip specific scenes. YouTube’s blog post, attributed to Shorts exec Sarah Ali, specifies that a “five-second clip” is a good size for a Cut.

Pop icon Miley Cyrus‘s mother, Tish Cyrus, responded to a claim made by their ex-husband, Billy Ray Cyrus, in a 2011 interview with GQ when Billy Ray had stated Hannah Montana had “destroyed” their family.
When asked about Billy Ray’s assertion on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Tish firmly stated, “Absolutely not.”
Tish’s older sister, Brandi, also present for the interview added that their family was far from destroyed and asserted that they were doing great.
Billy Ray’s comments came at a time when he had recently filed for divorce from Tish after nearly three decades of marriage. Their divorce coincided with the conclusion of his four-season run on Hannah Montana. Meanwhile, Cyrus was propelled to fame by the show and her perceived rebellious behavior.

Miley Cyrus’s Grammy wins were a sign voters are taking the Disney Channel generation more seriously
On February 4 singer Miley Cyrus made headlines by winning two Grammys, her first wins ever, for her smash hit “Flowers”: Best Pop Solo Performance and the highly coveted Record of the Year. The latter is one of the most prestigious categories at the Grammys, having gone to some absolute classics of the past and present, from Henry Mancini‘s “Moon River” to Adele‘s “Rolling in the Deep.” That was no easy feat, and for Cyrus to do so in particular feels like a milestone in itself.

On Sunday night, Miley Cyrus won her first-ever Grammy Award for her song “Flowers.”
Presented by fellow singer Mariah Carey, Cyrus won for Best Pop Solo Performance.
“This M.C. is going to stand by this M.C. for this because this is just too iconic,” Cyrus said in her speech, referencing her and Carey’s shared initials.
Cyrus also mentioned how she was seated in her “lucky number three seat.” She continued the speech by telling a story to “sum up this moment.”
“There was a little boy that all he wanted for his birthday was a butterfly. So, his parents gave him a butterfly net and he was so excited, he just went outside out in the sun and started swinging and swinging. But with no luck, he sat down on the ground, he finally let go and he surrendered, and he was okay that he wasn’t going to capture this beautiful butterfly.

2023 was all about the joy of girlhood, so it's no surprise the biggest musical hits of the year were also for women and by women. Ahead of the 2024 Grammy Awards, women dominated nominations across categories. But the Feb. 4 ceremony celebrated not only women nominees, but also winners, performers, and presenters - at every age. From longtime legends to rising artists, women celebrated each other unabashedly in an industry that tends to emphasize youth and often pits women against each other. For the first time in years, an award show seemed to hit the mark on entertaining audiences across generations, striking the perfect chord between embracing nostalgia and highlighting newer talent.
Women nominees were up for every major category, and ultimately snagged the big wins, too. Phoebe Bridgers took home the most trophies with four wins, making her a first-time Grammy winner alongside Victoria Monét, Miley Cyrus, Karol G, and Lainey Wilson.

Last night’s Grammys was a night of predictable winners, surprise appearances and even an arrest.
While Phoebe Bridgers was the big winner with four awards, it was Taylor Swift who took home Album of the Year (Midnights), making her the only artist to win the award four times. This honor was given by Celine Dion, in a shocking appearance considering her 2022 diagnosis of stiff person syndrome, leaving her unable to perform. After a standing ovation, she told the crowd, “Thank you, all! I love you right back…You look beautiful. When I say I’m happy to be here, I really mean it from my heart. Those who have been blessed enough to be here at the Grammy Awards must never take for granted the tremendous love and joy that music brings to our lives and to people all around the world.”
