Avatar: The Way of Water (2022)
Set over a decade after the 2009 blockbuster, 'Avatar: The Way of Water' follows Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña) as they grow their family among a new clan of reef-dwelling Na'vi. Stephen Lang returns to play Colonel Quaritch, who will be the big bad of all 4 sequels and "evolve into really unexpected places" according to Lang. Sigourney Weaver, CCH Pounder, Giovanni Ribisi, and Joel David Moore are also back for at least this first sequel. Rounding out the new recruits are Michelle Yeoh, Edie Falco, Vin Diesel, Cliff Curtis, Jemaine Clement, and Kate Winslet, who learned to free dive to play a reef-dwelling Metkayina called Ronal.
