In an alternate present-day version of Oakland, telemarketer Cassius Green discovers a magical key to professional success, propelling him into a universe of greed.
Boots Riley was the lead vocalist for the hip-hop group The Coup. He made the album "Sorry to Bother You" in 2012, which he then used in the movie, meaning he effectively made the sound track 7 years before the film.
Hey, Cash. How much longer I gotta wait for my money?
Cassius Green: God made this land for all of us. Greedy people like you want to hog it to yourself, and your family.
Sergio: Me and my family?
Cassius Green: Yeah.
Sergio: Cassius, I'm your fuckin' uncle.
