    3/10
    Awful
This is an awful movie. The jokes have all already been recycled a million times, the acting is terrible, the writing/story is awful, there is just nothing that makes this movie worth watching. Chris Elliott being in this bumps it up to a 3/10 otherwise I'd give this a 1.

Movie is almost worth watching for the weird type of humor it has. It try's to be like a new age American Pie but the humor is so odd that it creates its own genre

So this is what it would look like if 4chan wrote an live action anime movie. If it wasn't for veteran comedians needing work showing up sporadically, this would be completely unwatchable. Not sure if the lack of any real oversite ruined or made it the least bit original. Often confusing edgy with awkward. It seems like this probably made a lot of people embarrassed to watch and be in... hope there is a sequel.
  • If this is not a John Hughes high school movie, then what is it? It's most definitely not Bob Clark's Porky's, because Porky's was kinda funny.

The OTT acting, the jokes that has been used more than a $5 hooker at a Vegas convention and the frog-cum-prince story line made me stop watching at probably 30 minutes in this "coming of age (HAHA) movie." There are no redeeming qualities to this movie. None. Zip. Zero. Nada. Nothing. It's a black hole of God-knows-what.

I highly doubt that even over-sexed high school kids will find anything in this movie remotely funny, or amusing.
  • Filmed at our high school my daughter was and other students were extras so I was exited to see it. It took forever to be released and I was almost ashamed when we finally watched it. Over the top language and subject matter. What a pathetic attempt at a high school comedy....and I grew up watching all the high school movies in the 80s.

Horrible. Just horrible. If I were Zach Fox I would NOT be proud of this one.
  • Who on earth rated this an 8.2? This is one of the worst movies I've seen...ever! Avoid this movie. I watched it til the end to see if it somehow got better to explain the high rating but nope. Waste of time.

When I say embarrassing in the context of this movie, I'm not talking about the naked girls, or even the crusty old sex jokes about sex. It's a dirty joke, which is fine - but it's an unfunny dirty joke, which is a crime.

And in fact, that's what this is - an unfunny dirty joke, designed to get a giggle out of 12 year old boys.

The script and the acting are embarrassing. I'm talking your-mother-trying-to-comb-your-hair-in-the-office-on-your-first-day-at-the-job type embarrassment. Or how you would feel if your gran spit-cleaned your face when your girlfriend visited for the first time.

    Cringeworthy acting and eye-rolling humour.

Can't even get the stereotype Irish guy correct. He wears a kilt and bagpipes.

    Short
Well i cant say much things becouse i stop watching it at 15 mins tops... i rearly stop watching movies when i start them even if they are stupid, but this is the one of thouse rare cases that i just needed to stop.
  • This movie was good for what it was. I couple of high school kids going through awkward times. Yes, some of it has been done already, but I come with a fresh perspective as I knew nothing about this movie when I watched it, didn't read any reviews, nothing.

I give it a 6. I would probably not watch this again unless it was already playing on HBO or something. But it certainly wasn't terrible.

There were no moments where I cracked up, but it still was entertaining. There are far worse movies out there that get much higher ratings.

BTW, I loved Love Guru and everybody else hates it, so let's be fair, I like silly movies.
  • Lets all be honest, this movie is not as bad as everyone says it is, its funny if your not offended, its supposed to have offensive humor, yes there is nudity but it adds to the story

What a bloody flood of titties movie. I think the girls are very georgeous and pretty, but I can't see the essence of the plot since I start the movie.

Usually I really love nude-comedy movies, especially without cheesy marijuana effect like several american pie. But How to Get Girls just only get me to a grin.

However, I really love on how the movie express comic-lover without the nerdy side. This is a breakthrough even with Comic-Con.

    Love it.
  • I have quite high standards when it comes to what entertains me, and this was quite a good comedy, with twisted humour, and a bit perverted (in a fun 4way) themes, etc. This is NOT like American Pie, but instead with more sick/twisted segments. This would be really fun to watch high (which I will do soon). I rate it 7.5/10.

As a plus, there many really good looking hot teenage chicks, and lots of naked scenes. And also, there are som anti PC themed jokes, and also the ending has a good and warmhearted message.

    I really recommend this movie.
  • Best I've seen in years. Can't believe all the conservative reviews. If I had seen the IMDb rating before I watched it, I would have passed it by and missed out

I graduated from Conestoga High School with Zach a few years ago. The film takes place at "Konestoga High School" and there were MANY too subtle to be okay name changes. I was so disappointed to see some of my friends portrayed with little or no name change of characters that very obviously were represented in this movie in VERY derogatory ways. And why would you kill off "Mr. Trainer" (T-Dawg is actual teacher at Conestoga) when he's one of the best teachers at that school!

Overall, the movie is pitifully demeaning towards women and sole purpose stands to be one of those movies you watch for the sole purpose of needing an excuse to drink plenty of alcohol to forget you ever watched it. Cringe Worthy is too kind to describe this movie.

If you want to get famous, don't do it at the expense of your former high school classmates. This isn't one of your YouTube prank videos, at least have the decency to fully change your characters names and don't make it so obvious who you're portraying, especially when you're going to have them take part in things they definitely would have no part in. I'm greatly disappointed
