a review after the first episode
If you've read the book, i doubt you'd be the target audience for this show. And if you've seen the show i doubt you'd bother to read the book. Either way, my impressions are based on the first episode only, meaning there'd be enough time for Kiss Me First to develop in any direction the authors intended.

It's important to say that the show is only based on the book and the writers tweaked it considerably in the direction of Ready Player One with a hint of The Matrix. Although this might be what the audiences would love to see it does a disservice to the literally template. In the book internet was the vehicle for the story. In the show virtual reality is the story.

To be honest, i've never seen so much VR of such good quality on TV. So let's wait and see what the writers had in mind for the remaining five episodes...
