  • Bree & Alan are in good humor for "The Maniac Masseuse" and other lesbian short subjects nominally in the Oiler genre. It's less about rub-downs than hanky-panky and far more intriguing play-acting than is usual from the prolific web content team.

Dana is the reigning kook in Adult Entertainment, constantly giving us an object lesson in how a young talent, say Pauley Perrette from "NCIS" could easily go wrong if taking the wrong career path. DeArmond clearly has talent, and like the late Klaus Kinski her uninhibited and unrestrained personality and outbursts are quite entertaining, but directors like Alan and most other pornographers let her get away with murder.

Here it's abuse rather than homicide on her character's deranged mind, ostensibly massaging client Rilynn Rae, but looking at her wide-eyed for the audience's benefit like some cross between horror pioneer Tod Slaughter and the late but not forgotten Susan Tyrrell. I love watching Dana chew up the scenery, and she remains sexy here all the while.

Making this segment special is the fact that Rae seems to have the longest legs in porn, a very distinctive figure indeed, and lying prone on the massage table she seems to be 7 feet tall/long. A non-sex cameo by "Bree" (I assume it was Bree Daniels briefly stepping in) is thrown in here.

The other vignettes are not up to this calibre, but still are worth watching. Adriana Chechik, who is one of the team's favorite actresses, appears in two stand-alone scenes, once as the masseuse giving Jennifer White a rub-down, and later reappearing as a showgirl for Brit import the divine Sam Bentley to informally massage as a fellow showgirl, not in a salon setting.

Perhaps the fans' favorite segment will be Sara Luvv and Dani Daniels exercising in trendy fashion (and costumes) on yoga mats before coupling.

The remaining vignette gives lesser-known but highly attractive talent Latina Layla Sin(n) and Oriental Cindy Starfall in a fetish routine exploiting Cindy's aversion to being touched (she's too ticklish) which Layla the masseuse solves with blindfolding. This vignette, which is sequenced at the very beginning of the program, makes no sense whatsoever (a lady who can't stand being touched goes in for a massage? and blindfolding her solves that sensory issue?), typical of the ever-lazy approach to cinema that keeps bothering me about Mills and Stills, our twerpy auteurs.
