| Behind the Real Fawlty Towers!
To know the real Fawlty Towers, you must watch this twelve minute video filmed around Torquay, Devon, England and interviewed with those remembering Mr. Sinclair, the inspiration for Basil Fawlty. Hotel Gleneagles was where the Monty Python group stayed in 1971. John Cleese stayed behind to write one of Britain's best known comedies. You get to see Torquay's beautiful views. It is a popular seaside resort for Britons. The twelve minutes video shows Hotel Gleneagles, the inspiration, and interviews with guests, co-workers and managers. The video doesn't show enough of the beautiful Torquay especially the seaside views. Robin Powell interviews several people including a woman who married there.
