- Jaime thought he had a chance to end the war with a single shot. Jaime and Bronn return to King's Landing. Jamie is now really concerned of the consequences if Daenerys decides to attack King's Landing with all 3 of her dragons. King's Landing will not survive the assault. The Dothraki army will beat any army in the world and now the Lannisters don't have an army. He tries to convince Cersei that Tyrion had nothing to do with Joffrey's death (he tells her that Olenna confessed before she died), but she is adamant and wont make any peace.
Daenerys offers the Lannister army survivors the choice to pledge fealty to her or die. She tells the troops that she is in the Seven KIngdoms to rule, and not murder everyone. She wants to destroy the wheel of rich and poor, which benefits only Cersei. Against Tyrion's advice, she has Drogon burn Randyll and Dickon Tarly (Randyll says at least Cersei was born in Westeros and lived there all her life.. Daenerys has no ties to the land), who refused to bend the knee. Tyrion wanted to put them in a cell, to give them time to reconsider, but Daenerys is also adamant that she meant what she said.
Daenerys returns to Dragonstone and Jon makes a bond with Drogon when they both touch each other Jorah arrives at Dragonstone and reunites with Daenerys. Maester Wolkan (Richard Rycroft) alerts Jon and the Citadel about the wights approaching Eastwatch (Bran has a vision that the dead army is approaching the castle at the end of the Wall where the wall meets the sea) (the army of the dead is endless). Bran asks Wolkan to send Raven's to all allies in the seven kingdoms. Tyrion and Varys are starting to have doubts about the brutality of Daenerys. Will she walk the same path as her father, the Mad King. Jon gets the letter and proposes he travel beyond the Wall to capture a wight as proof they exist (Jorah decides to join Jon on his quest) and to convince Cersei to accept a temporary alliance. He wants Daenerys to position her army to face the White Walkers. But she is skeptical since if she moves her army, Cersei will take over all the vacated lands. Gendry meets Jon at Dragonstone and decides to join his quest to find a wight.

While helping Sam with his work, Gilly discovers that in the past, one Maester conducted a marriage annulment ceremony for Prince Rhaegar, while marrying him off to another woman at the same time. Sam dismisses this news.

Jon, Jorah, and Gendry, joined by Sandor, Thoros, Beric (who were in Tormund's cell at the wall, as they were captured trying to go beyond the wall. They convince Jon that their purposes are the same and thus they need to join forces), and a group of the Free Folk led by Tormund (Kristofer Hivju), leave Eastwatch and pass beyond the Wall to capture a wight.
