The Digital Sin/New Sensations labels regularly raid their recent libraries and issue these 5 or 6 hour compilations of complete but individual vignettes, for interested fans. Obviously if one collects in a completist vein these are superfluous, but for all others they provide a handy overview snapshot of who's who in porn for a given year.
This one covers predominately 2008, and I was quite pleased to see many actresses I had not become aware of previously, largely because they did not have the opportunity to graduate to story-line filmmaking but were toiling in the gonzo realm. Among the most pleasing discoveries are Cynthia Pendragon, Bailey O'Dare and Felony Foreplay, all impressive in this f&s exercise, and none of whom made the big time.
Turning to star power, Devon Lee is virtually the only marquee name in the bunch, while Amber Lee Bach and Austin Kincaid certainly are quite familiar faces and bodies. None of the vignettes are particularly riveting, all well-performed but closer to gonzo than to narrative porn.
