  • Warning: Spoilers
This Supergirl parody compared to the previous one, which had 8 hours on DVD, is like comparing Gone With the Wind to Plan 9 from Outer Space. It's only good because the previous film was so bad. Carter Cruise does well in the title role, but her double chin certainly didn't look nearly as good as Helen Slater's from the original Supergirl movie. The first sex scene was a bit long, but this helped build more excitement since both Supergirl and Brainiac kept most of their clothes on. The special effects and sound were also a big improvement over the last film. But I really got excited enough watching Helen Slater play Supergirl way back when, I don't think a porn parody could do much of a better job.
  • With Carter Cruise and Ryan Driller left over from an Axel Braun Batman vs. Superman ripoff feature, the overrated porn director turns to the TV series "Supergirl" with very poor results. Not much over the course of two hours and an irrelevant (zero content) 2nd Disk is thrown in to charge extra. (Second disk features a ridiculous 24-minute including credits "NonSex" version as if anyone would want to watch that.)

Cruise is not very impressive in the title role, and Derrick Pierce as her nemesis Lex Luthor, president of the U.S. in this version, has the requisite bald head and little else to recommend his performance. Van Wylde does not suggest Jimmy Olsen apart from wearing a bow tie and Driller's Clark Kent is deadly dull. They figure in the story merely to set-up a three-way sex scene with Wicked Pictures contract star Jessica Drake, similarly sleep-walking her way through the part of Cruise's boss, memorably limned on TV by Harrison Ford's better half Calista Flockhart.

So Braun is merely delivering a very faint carbon copy of the real thing, meant to impress unimaginative porn hounds who enjoy imitation. The auteur's staging is so static and the line readings so flat that one is inclined to tune out altogether.

Failing to spice things up are dark ladies in the form of the new, not improved Riley Steele, sporting dark hair rather than the blonde she had during her Digital Playground icon years (I wonder if Wicked had to pay for the use of her still-trademarked and owned by DP successor company Manwin stage name) and Katerina Jade. When Charles Dera makes the scene, I thought I had accidentally been tuned into a Brazzers vignette instead of a supposedly big deal Wicked Comix production.
  • If the Sex Scenes were great I could say that I am not bored of watching grams anyway, I am a super-loving guy and I made them do such a nice porn movie.
