Six years after the events of "Wreck-It Ralph," Ralph and Vanellope, now friends, discover a wi-fi router in their arcade, leading them into a new adventure.
At one point, Ralph arrives at a sort of "dumping ground" for the Internet and encounters "relics" from the web's past. These include an ad for the web hosting site Geocities, a large ship's helm representing Netscape Navigator, and a reference to personal chat rooms which flourished before the advent of instant messaging and texting.
Hey, kid, wake up!
Vanellope: Ralph, what is wrong with you?
Ralph: Start churnin' butter and put on your church shoes, little sister, cuz we're about to blast off!
Vanellope: Ralph, what is it you're trying to say?
Ralph: We're going to the internet.
Sonic the Hedgehog once said that if a character dies in a different game that they wouldn't be able to regenerate, and yet when Ralph and Vanellope were in "Tron" they froze as if they were about to die. However, the crash of their light-cycles in the game did not technically kill them. They were merely frame-frozen in mid-air due to the virus affecting that part of the game.
There is a scene in the closing credits: Ralph and Vanellope crash a child's Pancake Milkshake game on her iPad.
In the UK version, eBoy is voiced by British YouTube personality, Daniel Middleton, he also calls Ralph, "Gov'ner" instead of "Jackson". Like the first film however, this version did not end up in the UK home release.
