Six years after the events of "Wreck-It Ralph," Ralph and Vanellope, now friends, discover a wi-fi router in their arcade, leading them into a new adventure.
The fourth animated film from Disney to have a voice character of Bill Hader, after Monsters University (2013), Inside Out (2015) and Finding Dory (2016), as well as the first of the four not to have any involvement from Pixar Animation Studios.
Hey, kid, wake up!
Vanellope: Ralph, what is wrong with you?
Ralph: Start churnin' butter and put on your church shoes, little sister, cuz we're about to blast off!
Vanellope: Ralph, what is it you're trying to say?
Ralph: We're going to the internet.
Sonic the Hedgehog once said that if a character dies in a different game that they wouldn't be able to regenerate, and yet when Ralph and Vanellope were in "Tron" they froze as if they were about to die. However, the crash of their light-cycles in the game did not technically kill them. They were merely frame-frozen in mid-air due to the virus affecting that part of the game.
During the closing credits a scroll bar appears vertically down the right side. As scroll bars should, it starts at the top and moves downward relative to the list of credits. It reaches the bottom when the credits conclude.
In the UK version, eBoy is voiced by British YouTube personality, Daniel Middleton, he also calls Ralph, "Gov'ner" instead of "Jackson". Like the first film however, this version did not end up in the UK home release.
