  • Warning: Spoilers
Suffering through Bluebird's long-form porn films can be quite a chore. I treat it all as necessary training so that soon (not too soon I hope) I can tackle true binging on perhaps 20 hours of Buttman's "Voracious" series. This Part 2 of an unfinished 5-part disaster is very silly and loaded with loose ends.

    SPOILERS for THOSE WHO CARE:

Valerie Pearl is back and delightful as she adds explicit sex to her comic repertoire, flouncing about as the hostess of a country inn where weekend guests playing the title game are suffering through a series of murders. Bluebird owner/producer/head egotist Paul Chaplin is the murderer called (in the credits) The Shadow, but with only 3 parts ever released his identity must remain a secret. I gladly give away the secret because I had the temerity to click IMDb's almighty "Contains spoiler" button.

Cindy Behr is also fun to watch as a hambone female Sherlock Holmes and Natalia Faith is again diverting as a sexy top-hatted undertaker lady. To confuse everybody, an unidentified actress (if I really tried I could probably pick her out of a lineup of Bluebird regulars) storms in toward the end of the episode as "Danielle Varance", a relative of Pearl's, and her von Stroheim-like chauffeur is bald porn stud Ben English. But once arrived, Danielle is never heard of again, and Ben never unveils his very big dick. So one must infer that these two stars got to shine only in the missing Parts 4 and 5 of this stinker.

In sequels 2 and 3 we do get corpses brought back from the dead (to hump some more) by the magical powers of astrologer Jodie James, and none of the story makes the least bit of sense. It's apparently against Chaplin's religion to make a straightforward mystery on this interesting topic of folks doing cosplay at a country inn, but he insists on silliness instead.

On to Part 3, hell or high water.
