The paintings we can see in Ramon's room are actually created by the actor himself, Daniel Zovatto.
The show was canceled in April 2018 after only one season.
Peter Macdissi (Dr. Fahid Shokrani) previously worked with Alan Ball, creator of the show, on Six Feet Under.
Alan Ball also directed TV'S past hit series' TRUE BLOOD and SIX FEET UNDER. He won an Academy Award for writing the screenplay for AMERICAN BEAUTY. The series features two other Academy Award winners as well - Holly Hunter won Best Actress for THE PIANO and Tim ROBBINS won Best Supporting Actor for MYSTIC RIVER.
Jerrika Hinton and Joe Williamson were both formerly on Grey's Anatomy at different times. Williamson was on seasons 4-6 and Hinton was on seasons 9-13
