Unfolding reasonably well, but for one big trigger

Intriguing set of characters and events thus far; no slower than most other European crime mini-series and season-long arcs. But they pissed me off with one overused sequence. Am I the only one tired of seeing a foot chase end with the fleeing suspect flattened by a vehicular deus ex machina? Why should viewers know what's coming from our seats sooner than the dope running into the traffic?

Perhaps not as exciting as the first episode. While a lot is revealed plot wise, the pace of the show feels slower than the first. there's a lot of weird shots with a deer that I didn't quite understand.
