The storyline started well but ended bad
groovymocha9 February 2022
The plot started well with a peculiar blind date arranged by their mothers.

Lale a middle class girl who accidently sat on a wrong table with Onur an affluent young enterpreneur. Intoxicated pair end up sleeping together. Onur's character a sofiscated gentlemen, dignified and successful engineer represents as the face of their holding company gets engaged to Pelinsu a gold digger not liked by Onur's grandmother Ismet( a wise and smart women head of the family). Erol a cousin and antagonist of Onur married to Filiz (an honest, humorous & friendly girl who gives herself into gluttony). Both are getting married and competing to beget the next heir in order to obtain interitance as per the will. Lale's character a naive girl, ungreedy, no career in her profession but helps her mother at florist. Lale approaches Onur immediately after learning about pregnancy and family forces Onur to marry through a contract to achieve legacy. Grandma and Filiz rigorously supports the couple to come together and eventually fall in love with each other. Take aways from plot: Ismet Grandma's axioms on how to tackle real challenges after marriage which most of the couples struggle due to compatibility, adjustments, forgiving and trust issues. Instill good ideas to kids from childhood to retain dignity at any costs.

After Emir's birth (Lale& Onur son), the episodes got boring. Out of respect Onur can't go against parents by cancelling the contract and Lale not willing to understand Onur's problems at work and home. Take away: Don't crush or torment husband between parents and one's view as long as he is loving and caring. Set your expectations low to avoid disappointment in reality. Ex: Wives of successful corporate leaders make lots of sacrifices to support their husband's, gradually love can fade some part halfway and others remain happily married.

The later half of series Lale's character became annoying loud, unsupportive, lacks trust, incessant fights and leaving house without consulting Onur, emasculating him with sharp tongue. Scriptwriters ruined the script, a shrewd businessman gives away a huge check to Pelinsu at face value for not blackmailing. Wonder, how he runs his business. To drag the episodes, they brought Lale's lost father left 25 yrs ago never provided child support and Ozge ex-lover with daughter of Onur who left to USA for career just to coorelate the situation. Onur is still not cheating other than hiding the past from Lale(a sort of cheating). He is still not a womanizer but his level as plummeted from a successful entrepreneur to level of roustabout who himself doesn't know about the alleged kids from multiple women. Lale gave him a shock once and he fixed his mistake why giving him another shock again. Scriptwriters and director ran out of ideas by dragging the series illogically and whole storyline became lame and senseless. In finale the main character Ismet grandmother is missing so sad.

They should have dragged the series by showing the past of Onur, encountering Ozge in college reunion or similar. Giving a ramification to Lale how madly they were in love and were parted by coercion. Could have been a beautiful ending as a love triangle as not every one is successful in love and some remain unmarried devoting their lives for true love.

The drama involves characters which will definitely make you laugh or chuckle. The romance between the couple looks realistic and evokes emotions. Only the beginning half is worth watching. All actors performed well.

The most gripping but forever annoying show!
msmonteiro-1880826 September 2023
It's so bad, that's so good. Literally so badly written, full of cliches and unrealistic misunderstandings. Every. Single. Character. Is. Annoying. Especially the mothers. I understand that cultures are very different but I've never seen mothers meddle so much in fully grown married adults with children's lives!

Every story line could have been solved with a simple conversation. No one communicates effectively in this show, it's actually laughable. It's entertaining sometimes, mostly is just frustrating. It's the relentless story to break up the main couple, gets boring.

Lale & Onur are incredibly naive for grown adults. Betül, Erol, Pelinsu, Serife, Songül & Yildiz are all insufferable!! Overall it's entertaining for the first few episodes then it just drags, gets very samey and annoying.

Too bad they kept going till 66 episode.they should have stopped at 40
marymerilue17 July 2020
Wow.. At first I gave 5 stars because the lead actress Onur is a terrible actress and contribute nothing to the show but I liked the cast and the story at the beginning was interesting, so...5 stars seemed fair. After episode 40 it spiraled down.. repetitive stories . The same stories with different actresses. They kept going on and on and on and on with the same stupid stories all over again till the end.. The story started very nice and than became super stupid childish and boring.. what's with the "lost father"& the "lost daughter" stories scrambled in the last episodes??Wow hahaha

No matter what, the whole world can be set on fire and Onur is always dressed as a runway model..he is so annoying with his consists fake smile, fake walk, fake everything. Did I mention he is by far the worst actress I ever watched on tv?? The wonderful actress Demet didn't deserved such a terrible actor beside her. Last 25 episode were unnecessary.. It's seems the writers were all over the place with the script.not focused on a specific story but 200 more different direction. the last 20 episodes it was chaos ..not a good story line. The only good thing I can say about it is the wonderful cast(except Onur the emotionless).

Awful
dophiea1 January 2023
The first 30-40 episodes were tolerable and sometimes funny, but then it turned into junk. It felt as if the director of this nonsense wanted to test the patience of its audiences. After watching a few Turkish series we concluded that they start every series with limited stories, and as soon as people continue watching, they run out of creative ideas. So after trying the few events of hospitals and defibrillators and back-and-forth separations and mothers destroying their kids' lives, the writers ran out of ideas and then junk episode after junk episode. Sorry IMDB I know you do not like negative comments since you are connected to the industry but this is my review.

Horrible writing, directing and acting.
mcc-0844511 August 2021
Warning: Spoilers
It takes a special talent to write such a bad scenario, find the worst directors and players and create one of the worst romcoms. This is designed for people with an IQ under 25. Horrible acting and directing. It is simply a shameful trash. DO not watch it. Here's the spoiler: Not a single smart scene. Not a funny moment.

I was frustrated with the series but enjoyed it very much.
deltadelagarz26 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Yes, the series was long and occasionally, first-time actor Furkan Palali (Onur) was a bit low-energy, but I liked this show very much. I viewed it as a series of stories strung together by people with histories and motivations that influenced their decisions and life outcomes.

Grandparents Ismet and Ahmet complicated the Sarihan family by requiring a grandson to marry and have a child in order to inherit the family's wealth. The race is on - according to Onur and Erol's parents.

Onur seemed like a smart businessman, decisive, and a good communicator. But when it came to romantic relationships, he was an idiot. He always tried to please too many people, even if they shouldn't be pleased. He came alive and brightened up when he met Lale (innocent, generous, selfless) on their blind date and was always subdued by Pelinsu (evil, poisonous snake). For Onur, marrying Lale was a matter of honor at first, but it turned into love by the time they finally married. When Emir was born, their love grew even stronger.

Lots of people tried to break up Onur and Lale - Betul, Erol, Yildiz, Serife, and most of all Pelinsu (vile extortionist) in order to breakup Onur and Lale and transfer the inheritance to Erol (a fool). In the end, however, it was Onur and Lale (mostly Onur) who were responsible for their own break-ups. Lale had a habit of shutting down and leaving Onur at the first sign of trouble. Onur had a terrible habit of keeping important matters from Lale and lying to hide them.

1- Onur helped Pelinsu (lying grifter) at the bar when she was too drunk to drive. They were photographed outside the bar. Why did he do that? Stupid.

2- Lale planned a lovely honeymoon. They drive to the first hotel which was bust. The second hotel was gorgeous but held a lot of memories for Onur and his first great love. Onur ruined their honeymoon thinking about his first love and lied to Lale about it. Stupid.

3- Onur told Lale that he terminated the marriage contract because they married for love. Yildiz forbade Onur to cancel the contract and Onur obeyed his selfish, excessively proud mother. Stupid.

4- Lale discovers that Onur's grandparents imposed the inheritance requirement on their grandsons. Onur's family pays 20 million to Pelinsu (blackmailing criminal) to keep her mouth shut about the inheritance. Stupid.

5- Lale and her mother accidentally discover that Onur has another family (daughter) and that he and his parents have been meeting and becoming close to them. He claims that he didn't know about the child. Stupid.

The evil trio Betul-Pelinsu-Erol were primarily responsible initiating Lale and Onur's problems. However, as much as I like Onur and Lale together, Onur lacks the strength and character to be the best life partner for Lale.

The final situation with Onur lying about his daughter and former lover should have been the straw for Lale. Had I written the story, Lale would divorce Onur. In my story, Lale would return everything single thing that Onur and his family gave to her and become independent, happy, an even more loving mother to Emir, and successful/famous educator. The end.

Worst directing, worst acting
mcc-0844517 August 2021
Writers: Banu Zengin Tak and Asli Zengin Rating (from 1 to 10): 3

Directors: Hasan Tolga Pulat and Emre Kavuk Rating (from 1 to 10) : 3

Actors and Actresses (Rating 1 to 10)

Onur Sarihan (Furkan Palali): 2 Demet Ozdemir ( Lale): 6 Irem Helvacioglu (Pelinsu Yalin): 2 Cihan Ercan (Erol sarihan): 5 Sumru Yavrucuk (songul Yenilmez): 3 Ceren Tasci (Filiz sarihan): 2 Fatma Toptas (Nilufer Yorulmaz):4 Ozlem Tokaslan (Yildiz Sarihan):4 Gokce Ozyol (Kurtulus Yorulmaz):3 Sevinc Erbulak (Betul sarihan): 2 Eda Ozel (sebnem Yalin):3

Results: Below average Recommended: No Comments: Poor writing, directing and acting with constant repeats. Waste of time. Watch anything else )e.g. Erkenci Kus) Demet Ozdemir is the only talented actress but directors wasted that too. Mothers are extremely exaggerated. Kurtulus Yorulmaz is also exaggerated. Looks like directors lost control, writers didn't care and actors start running all over the place with non-stop and uncontrolled music.

Series Rating: 3.

The Only One RomCom I Watch Over And Over
odeliamaryam1 September 2021
From the episode one and until episode 65, I watched No 309 only for 5 hours. Until today, I watch the series but part I love more, yes, Onur & Lale. The chemistry between both Furkan Palali & Demet Ozdemir catch my heart. The other scene made me laugh or a little annoy from antagonist player, Erol and Betul. I have been entertained by this series. Long story short, the series is rich not only with drama, but it also has good knowledge about pregnancy. Good job for the writers, actors, cameramen, all crew and team for the series.

Feel good dizi, watchable but some boring annoying parts
mosquitocyn8 June 2021
The plot is ok, the series have funny moments but is overly long. The cast is a mix - some are really good and some really bad and annoying. Demet as usual performs well but Furkan as Onur is not the right choice. His acting is really bad especially in the early episodes. He improved at the later episodes. However, this is a typical feel good romcom dizi. Even if you skip some episodes, you can follow the story. I give it a 6 for the funny colorful moments, strong acting from some of the cast and a good storyline.

A typical Turkish drama in the worst way
vividevie30 September 2021
This show is surprisingly infuriating to watch. The plot is simple but it's the endless misunderstandings and miscommunications that makes up this hundreds episode long soap opera. The characters in it have the IQ of a tree stump! One can only take so much of cheesiness.

Very soapy, slow and sometimes boring
krumins-2524631 October 2021
Until the ~20-25 episodes it was slow, very soapy and sometimes boring but after that I really enjoyed. Demet/Lale is awesome as usual but at the end I also liked Kurtulus and Erol, they were so funny :-D.

Family series. A must watch

I love this series because it's similar to my life. The way lale shares everything to her sisters and mom. And the chemistry between lale and onur are great.

Series watchworthy ❤
jyothiaravindan17 December 2021
Onur is awesomest, must say; looks wise, attitude wise, a beau wise (worth dying for), a friend wise, a son wise, dad wise, a business shark wise, et al. Congratulations to all characters, they were immensely wondersome, Filiz, Erol, Betul, Sadi, Songul, Kurtulus, Nilufer, Gulsah, Yildiz, Fikret, Serife, Seher, Samet, Nergis, Koray... above all Ismet.... Loved them all. Much too realistic family emotions, relatable family psychology, juicy family bonding n friction. Only Lale's role I felt very blunt and dry (I beg your pardon, just an opinion) though she seemed adorable for her persona. Hilarious yet gravitated in a valuesome family aura. I appreciate the vision and execution. Awesome, awesome, awesome.
