Apparently Bluebird Films was a plaything for Paul Chaplin, a Brit with lots of cash and a desire to be a porn star. "My Ideal World" is a revealing piece of junk in which he indulges himself to the hilt, before embarking on overblown projects ("Bonny & Clide", "Batfxxxx", etc.) which oddly received unearned industry praise.
The gimmick here, hiding behind a pseudonymous credit as "Peter Lee", is Chaplin humping a dozen girls with his face (actually his entire head) hidden from view, in a sort of point-of-view camera technique. It's not the successful POV shooting associated with folks like Rodney Moore, Kevin Moore and Mike Adriano, but it does permit Chaplin to retain relative anonymity, except for buffs like me who can easily recognize the creep.
Six vignettes unfold in which a pair of beautiful women are interrupted by the voice-over (live voice on set apparently) Chaplin musing how ideal it would be if they would instantly service him. And they do. Pretty flimsy content for even a lousy porn film, but clearly satisfying to the self-made star paying all the bills.
Among the mainly Chatsworth femmes on view are stunners including Jenna Presley, Natasha Nice, Shawna Lenee, Riley Evans and Veronica Rayne, as well as big names like Phoenix Maire and Nikki Benz. When a Brit porn star shows up, in the form of Kerry Louise, Chaplin on the soundtrack goes ga-ga. I got the impression this was shot in California with Chaplin making the trip, rather than Bluebird's technique of often importing U.S. talent to London for a video.
The three-ways do deliver a modicum of arousing lesbian action, but to watch the lengthy (163 minutes, though advertised on DVD liner erroneously at 175) loser one needs a strong tolerance for watching pasty-skinned, hairy legged Chaplin doing his thing over and over. He seems intent to prove that he can deliver money shots just like the classic woodsmen of Adult Film history, to which I respond, BFD.
