Ball Control

"Ball Control", pun based on soccer theme, is a Romantic Couples films that I enjoyed more than the lion's share of JoyBear releases over the years. It adheres to the Brit label's "naughty but nice" content formula, but a winning cast puts this one over.

Sienna Day stars as a physiotherapist working for a top football team, with Monica Vox doing the voice-over narration representing Day, this being a pantomime. The five segments limn romantic entanglements surrounding the team and are interesting enough to keep the pot boiling.

JoyBear is all about the sex, but still rooted in characters, albeit stereotypical ones. In quick succession we see team manager Victoria Summers hump journalist Ryan Ryder, an old flame of hers; then Sienna tending to footballer Luke Hotrod's injury with sex; female paparazzi Anissa Kate servicing another footballer Marc Rose; big-breasted Rebecca More as the rich owner sampling Luke's dick, and finally a lesbian encounter for Sienna with Jess West after Sienna's chosen to manage a female soccer squad.

Along the way Tina Kay shows up in strictly soft-core footage, looking good but not having to show her XXX prowess for a change.

Like all JoyBears, it is intentionally light-weight entertainment, meant to contrast with both the gonzo crap that dominates porn worldwide and also quite different from the pretentious porn issued by various so-called "visionary" directors. I enjoy the painless JoyBear approach and hope they can somehow stay in business without going over to the dark side of Adult.
