Nica Noelle and many other serious Adult filmmakers deal with the theme of infidelity as a staple, and it is no stranger to her different works in different genres: boy/girl, girl/girl and more recently boy/boy (to use the quaint & infantile industry terminology). I especially enjoyed this latest effort which incidentally addressed two further issues.
First off, the title is far less ambiguous than usual in the Sweet Sinner, Sweetheart Video and now Icon Male releases. The obvious equivalent for a Lesbian Video would be "Her Hot Sister In Law" which has yet to be used. Ordinarily these generic titles leave room for ambiguity by starting off with "My", thereby leaving the same-gender issue in abeyance.
The inclusion of the sister is a big improvement over some of Nica's other videos. I had recently watched "Cheaters 2" consisting of 4 vignettes of guys cheating with other guys, several of which had the wife or girlfriend as injured party. But in that video none of the women ever showed up -they were merely mentioned in passing, detracting immeasurably from the potential weight of the "cheating".
She thankfully has a woman on the payroll this time, Victoria Skye as Charlotte, "His" wife, married to ruggedly handsome Roman Todd as Johnny. Victoria doesn't look anything like an actress, most likely resembling a crew member pressed into service to essay a non-sex role (as often happens). She is empathetic and ultimately clueless as to the situation, and adds plenty to the show's success.
The other improvement is Nica's first casting of an authentic "big-dick" performer in one of her Gay videos in the person of young Calvin Banks. He portrays Charlotte's young brother Jayden, who facially resembles porn superstar James Deen. Only Banks has an even bigger dick than his sort of namesake (Jayden vs James Deen).
The straightforward scenario has Jayden coming out of the closet, and his sister inviting a Gay couple (Griffin Barrows and Nica's go-to actor Billy Santoro) over for the weekend to sort of make visiting Jayden feel comfortable. Fly in the ointment is of course her new husband Roman immediately falling for Jayden at first sight.
The romance even includes an S.O.L.I. sequence of Jayden and Johnny silently wandering in the New England environs, skipping stones across the surface of a lake and such. She has a way of bringing back the '70s Gay romantic mood of porn films, such as the classic "The Idol" which I viewed for the first time recently. The sex in Icon Male videos may be explicit, but the woman's touch in the director's chair (recently augmented by Dana Vespoli once again following in Nica's footsteps) is clearly evident.
