This is a light-hearted romantic comedy tha I think accomplishes what it tries. Of course, it's no masterpiece, but entertains. I found Adrien to be likable; I can't say the same of his romantic interest, who's bossy and irritating. Even when she later explains why she is like that, I still couldn't like her at all. I also think the movies lacks a couple of beats in the relationship between the two, and how she starts to like him again.

I watched this because of Laurence Arne, Dany Boon's new girlfriend. One cannot help notice how much she looks like Judith Godreche. Anyway. Beautiful actress with a fiery character. The problem lies with the script. I think everyone plays well, even the kids, but the story is linear, over the top, the dialogues are lazily written. Maude's swearing is extremely violent and vulgar. Adrien smokes all the time. Very little character development, everyone is very stereotyped, it just feels like lazy work.
