Fellas, if you got YouTube Red solely for this show... it wasn't worth it. Go watch Good Game or Game Lab or even Lazer Team instead of this tripe.
Paranormal Action Squad is the laziest adult animated show I've seen since Allen Gregory. It's nothing more than a cash grab off the popularity of Vanoss, oh sorry, I mean SeaNanners, because he's still relevant, right? Right?! RIGHT?!
He's not. This show is appealing to little kids who watch VanossGaming, who is funny and a good YouTuber, but is obviously just here for a ratings trap or in this case, a views trap, I guess. Why else would SeaNanners and Mr. Sark have different designs while Vanoss is designed like his marketable GTA 5 avatar?
And by the way, as far as I'm aware, there's no reason why Vanoss is an owl while everyone else is human.
The first thing that will stand out to you is that the animation is AWFUL. Background characters don't move, frames are recycled, and it's just a mess. The show is drawn in a cartoony way like Rick and Morty, but it's animated with very few in-between frames like Archer.
The writing is terrible. Not only is it awful jokes written by comedians who are best at improvising jokes around situations, it's trying to be a 30-minute stories around 10-15 minute episodes. It feels rushed and painful.
Now, keep something in mind. All of this was written about EPISODE 1. I could not make it past the first episode, and I already had all of this stuff to write about.
Don't watch this show.
