Fetish videos are quite popular for a specialized viewership, but this mainstream porn (via Digital Playground) attempt to cash in on the genre is exceptionally wimpy. Throwing in "cigarette smoking" as one of the four fetishes given a vignette each is indicative of how lousy Holly Randall's approach is.

That smoking fetish segment is somewhat ambitious, shown largely in black & white (plus red color as the only color in the frame, a device used by everybody from Spielberg to Brit fetish specialist Kendo). It's a period piece starring Dana DeArmond as a femme fatale with long cigarette-holder in tow, stuck in a stupid film noir "murder my husband" saga. Acting by Mike Mancini is very poor, and the violent confrontation laughable in its inept staging.

More effective is voyeurism, though that too is badly directed. Again using flashy period costumes, Krissy Lynn is the unlikely voyeuse in the lobby of a bed and breakfast, masturbating like all get-out as her eyes are riveted to studly Charles Dera humping Eva Lovia in the background. I would have much rather watched Dera cast as a Ricardo Cortez Lothario -he has just the right look.

Exhibitionism rears its ugly head in the form of a silly lesbian story involving some attractive femmes, all wasted: Darcie Dolce, Melissa Moore (doing her Riley Reid imitation) and Jenna Sativa. This does not qualify as fetish content at all.

Foot fetishism is a legitimate topic, but Holly's handling of it is puerile. We get Eva Lovia again and Aria Alexander (DP contract stars) applying four feet to the dick of Ramon Nomar. Randall has apparently not studied the thousands of footsie videos out there which establish distorting closeups of toes and soles that the fans demand, instead giving us a pretend version of the fetish. With period costumes here, why she chose not to give us a true tactile feel for latex, nylons, pantyhose and other femme undergarments, like a real genre director would do, remains a mystery.
