Hugh Jackman is the perfect Wolverine. What a fun movie. I like the dialogue and clever quips with f bombs sprinkled in. It's definitely not taking itself too seriously. There is tons of fun cameos I didn't expect! I normally watch spoiler videos ahead of time, but I didn't on this occasion and I'm glad I didn't because there was some oh snap moments! It's a very good action packed fun film. The breaking the Fox jokes and speaking to the camera jokes are too funny. I can definitely see more sequels for these two on the horizon. They are promoting this movie hard I just watched these two on Hot Ones eating chicken wings They make a dynamic duo. Until your 90 Wolverine ...until your 90 lol.

What a crazy blast ! Bonkers !!
Sooo !... What I can say about this movie is that they (the whole team behind the movie) never hesitated a second to go all in, with everything they have in stores, throwing the kitchen sink in there and everything else.
What's to love is how highly satisfying the movie is from the very first to the very last second, when it comes to all the little (or not so little) winks at the audience, especially if you connect with the characters and their previous iterations...
But what you can really appreciate and which makes the entire movie (and scenes / story bits) more enjoyable is the whole emotional layer of it and really fun connections that occur (the come-back or introduction of various characters was so well done and really great to see) ...
These guys clearly know what they are doing.
Between the one-liners and the endless flow of jokes... The chemistry between Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman knocks it out of the park !
It is so overflowingly cray-cray and the frame is oh so overfilled with stuffs...
Oh, and the tone of the movie is something else !
The intro sequence is a masterpiece... The "corridor" type of fight scene (that's in fact in a street) around the end the movie, it's just...a banquet of madness.
Plus, the soundtrack is -like in the previous movies- super satisfying.
I am quite excited for what there is to come next in the MCU and for these characters we've seen in this movie...

So many Easter Eggs, so true to the comic characters, and may have possibly single handedly saved the MCU. Everything you'd expect from a deadpool movie plus. Haven't left a theatre so buzzy in a very long time. Rips to shreds the tedium of the last 5 years of the MCU and makes you think there may be life after Endgame after all. Cinematic feel was great, amazing soundtrack and I'll probably go back again over the weekend to watch again. So lucky in NZ to get these preview nights w to 3 days before the rest of the world see them. God bless you Mr's Levy, Reynolds and Jackman, a laugh a minute ride!

This is the first Marvel movie in a long time that didn't make me want to fast-forward to the end. It runs on fan service, cameos and everything that came before. I liked it well enough, but I got the feeling throughout that Disney is throwing a bunch of stuff we've really wanted at us in a sloppy, disorganized way, in the hopes that we will forget about all the flops and start coming to their movies again. It's almost like someone told Ryan Reynolds to make something we'll like because the money is drying up and they need a hit. This movie isn't going to fix anything like a lot of people thought it would. Not as good as 1, but better than 2. I'll probably watch it again.

We've waited so long for this moment, and it was beyond fun, wholesome, full of surprises, emotional and epic! Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman and Shawn Levy pour out their hearts for this movie to be what is it.
It's beyond the MCU timeline, it's beyond even FOX's "X-Men" movies. It's about all the kids who grew up with these movies and these characters. The kids, who are now adults, but still love every bit of it.
You know it's going to be fun with these two, but man... I laughed so hard, even my stomach was feeling it. And the jokes... be sure this is not Deadpool watered down in the MCU, it's Deadpool at its best. The inevitable bromance unveiled before our eyes. The story is fine, nothing special, but you feel it, and knowing the past knowledge about these characters and their respective universes makes everything hit the emotions.
What about the cameos, you'd ask, I guess? Well, we already know about a bunch of them, but be sure, there's a bunch more and even the ones we already knew are more than what meets the eye.
Emma Corrin as the villain Cassandra Nova is such a good addition to the movie and to the MCU as a whole. She is smart, strong, cold-blooded and also makes fun of our two leads.
The action and the visuals are beyond amazing. There are some really, really creative scenes, where adamantium swords and claws create such a mayhem, that makes everything so bloody!
The music choice is great and fun, at times could crack you so much. The opening scene is pure gold!
Can't praise the movie enough, but "Deadpool & Wolverine" is definitely in my top 5 cinema experiences, and you can easily guess the other ones. The whole theater was laughing, cheering and sobbing like a one person. What more could you ask for? Also, the movie got such a rewatchability factor, the length is perfect and be sure it will make tons of money! You can't possibly catch all the details in the first viewing for sure, but you will want to, so you'll go again and again... and again.
What about the credit scene, you might ask? I kind of don't want to say anything about it because I don't want to spoil even the possible direction your thought is taking. Just stay for it, also during the credits there is something really beautiful. It's nowhere near "fun filler", it's not "Infinity War" level too, but it's a great movie, and it's one of MCU's finest!

It was painful to watch this movie at times. While Deadpool is known for his crude, foul language, this movie went overkill.
With all the jokes made in prior movies and trailers, this movie showed up with an almost empty tank of gas. The plot was simply dumb and didn't do much for the Deadpool franchise. Most of the humor was the same formula. After a while it felt like a funny comedian telling the same joke but in a different style over and over and over again. It got old.
There were some fun scenes, but for the first time in a Deadpool movie, there were many parts where I simply lost interest and checked my watch.
They probably should have taken the wins from the first two Deadpool movies and left it at that--and I would have been 100% ok with it.
Not worth the movie ticket, but good enough when it goes digital.

I read an IGN review where the guy gave it a 7 because the story was poor.
The guy really needs to read the room.
You do not go to see Deadpool for a great, in-depth story which will make you think.
You go to see Deadpool for fun, for obscene fight scenes, great jokes, bad jokes... Ridiculous deaths, sarcasms, obnoxious non PC comments and most importantly the most amazing music which brings it all together.
And Deapool and Wolverine has that on every possible way.
If you want to see this film, go to the cinema, don't wait for TV because you will miss one of the biggest and best watches to ever hit the big screen.

I enjoyed the first two Deadpool movies a lot, with the first being my favorite. I found DP3 less successful, mainly due to the weaker story. In the first two films, I felt they had a nice balance of humor, action, and story. Both of those movies had serious themes that drove Deadpool through the film. But this third one? The stakes just didn't seem that high. I wasn't the least bit invested in seeing DP and Wolverine succeed. That tension and hope were missing from this third film.
I think I wasn't as engaged due to the endless breaking of the fourth wall. This was done in the first two movies, but not to the extent it happens here. It seems like every 5 minutes, someone turns and looks into the camera to make a joke. Many of the jokes are about Fox, Marvel, and Disney. A few are fine, but there are so many that you get yanked out of the story.
The trash-talking was also dialed up to an eleven. It's almost like the writers felt they had to do a lot more wall-breaking and tasteless swearing to go beyond the past two films.
There are a lot of positives, however. The character cameos are fantastic. I constantly found myself saying "wow" everytime someone new came on screen. Kudos to Reynolds and everyone for getting so many great characters from the past to be included in this movie.
I also found the fight scenes and VFX to be excellent. The movie has a lot of great action. Although there were too many jokes, I have to admit I had many LOL moments.
If you loved the first two DP movies, you will most likely enjoy this latest installment. For me, the fourth-wall breaks and crass humor diminished what could have been a stronger core story.

Went to an early midnight screening in a packed Imax. The whole theater was laughing and cheering throughout the movie. The story can be a little confusing, but it was fun all the way, I didn't feel bored even for a second. The action was very bloody and goofy, the jokes were hardcore and the movie is very meta. The one thing I especially liked is that there are actually emotional scene that aren't actually undercut with jokes, a thing that a lot of newer MCU movies tend to do. But this is still more of a Fox than a MCU movie. If you liked previous Deadpool movies you'll like this one too. Hugh Jackman is amazing as Wolverine and the cameos are really something special, especially because they're usually more that just that.
It's a fan service, but who cares - it's a entertaining fun summer blockbuster that gives you what you've paid for.

I saw this at an early fan screening and it was pure cinematic candy. I'm confident that it's the best movie of the summer!
The whole audience was constantly either laughing, cheering or clapping. The jokes were hilarious and the cameos were amazing (and so many of them!). I won't spoil anything, but there were multiple cameos by characters you'll never see in any other movie, and I loved them. Fans of comic book movies will have a field day with all the references.
It might be recency bias, but it's probably my favourite Deadpool movie (and I loved the first two). They definitely knew what the fans wanted (and what they didn't know they wanted) and gave it to them. Another hit from Shawn Levy.

D&W is a film that objectively deserves a nice 4: full of holes in the plot, history to forget and probably one of the most lame of the whole MCU, characters without any emotional depth and many other cinematic horrors. Wolverine is reduced to a mere character that serves only to support the jokes of Deadpool. Which is a shame, since Jackman is a great actor who could have been used much more. The title of the most suitable film would be: Deadpool (written in giant letters) & a bit of Wolverine (as subtitle). The villain is terrible to say the least: almost non-existent motivations, a little random powers and a forced and fake acting. The secondary characters are strung with force , according to the fan service fashion to which the film continually winks. So why is my grade 6? It's simple: it's funny. It's a very flat and drawn-out movie, but it's funny, and not little. The irony of this film is unmatched and it makes fun of anything, following a comical pattern that has disappeared with the culture of politically correct (Disney...). The final film is free, unrestrained, unregulated and minimally influenced. Get ready to laugh every 10 minutes: the jokes are so sharp that it's almost impossible not to mention a small smile. It's a pity that comedy is not enough, if everything else is as mediocre as few films.
Honorable mention for Dogpool, who, believe me, is the best actor in the film. And that says a lot.

So that was a trip. I really enjoyed that film, and think both casual and hardcore fans will be pleased. Not perfect, but still pretty darn entertaining. There's a temptation lately for films that aren't perfect to be seen as a disappointment, and I hope that isn't the case here.
The Deadpool and Wolverine team up has been teased since 2009's disaster X-Men Origins: Wolverine movie. The film aims to strike a balance between being accessible to casual viewers while also satisfying die-hard fans of the characters.
However, the film also faces the challenge of navigating the complex and intricate web of continuity that exists within the Marvel universe. With close to 50 (!) films in its continuity (not including the TV shows and Sony's films), the Deadpool and Wolverine movie needed to carefully thread the needle to ensure that it honors the established lore while also delivering a fresh and engaging story.
Despite the potential baggage of its expansive continuity, the Deadpool and Wolverine works as a standalone.

Alright, here's an extended review of "Deadpool 3":
"Deadpool 3 was an unexpected disappointment, falling far short of the franchise's earlier successes. The humor, which has always been Deadpool's most defining and entertaining quality, was sorely lacking in this latest installment. In previous movies, the jokes were sharp, irreverent, and perfectly timed, but in Deadpool 3, they felt forced and uninspired. It was as if the writers were trying too hard to recreate the magic of the first two films, but instead ended up with a series of awkward and unfunny moments that did not land.
Moreover, one of the most glaring issues with Deadpool 3 was the absurd amount of cameos. Cameos can be a fun and exciting surprise when used sparingly, but this movie took it to a ridiculous level. The sheer volume of them turned what could have been enjoyable Easter eggs into a frustrating distraction. Each new appearance pulled me further out of the story, making it difficult to stay engaged with the main plot. It seemed like the filmmakers were more interested in showcasing a parade of guest stars than focusing on a coherent and compelling narrative.
The overreliance on cameos also highlighted another problem: the lack of a strong, central story. In previous Deadpool films, the balance between character development, humor, and action was spot on. Deadpool 3, however, struggled to find its footing, often feeling like a disjointed series of skits rather than a cohesive story. This was particularly evident in the pacing, which was uneven and, at times, downright sluggish. Just when I thought the plot was finally gaining momentum, another cameo or a poorly executed joke would derail it.
Character development also took a hit in this film. The charm of the Deadpool character lies in his complexity and depth, but in this installment, he came off as a caricature of his former self. The nuances that made him such a compelling anti-hero were overshadowed by an overemphasis on crude humor and unnecessary antics. This was a real shame, as Ryan Reynolds has consistently brought a unique blend of wit and emotional depth to the role, but even his talents couldn't save the floundering script.
Additionally, the supporting characters, who had been so integral to the storylines of the previous movies, were underutilized and poorly written. Their interactions with Deadpool felt superficial, lacking the meaningful connections that had previously added layers to the narrative. The new characters introduced in this film failed to leave a lasting impression, making their presence feel like an afterthought rather than a carefully crafted addition to the Deadpool universe.
The action sequences, usually a high point in Deadpool films, were another letdown. They lacked the creativity and excitement that fans have come to expect. Instead of thrilling, well-choreographed fights, we were given generic and forgettable scenes that did little to elevate the overall experience. The visual effects, too, were inconsistent, with some moments looking surprisingly subpar for a movie of this budget and scale.
In conclusion, Deadpool 3 was a frustrating experience that failed to capture the essence of what made the first two films so special. The forced humor, excessive cameos, weak storyline, and lackluster action sequences all contributed to a movie that felt more like a cash grab than a genuine continuation of the beloved franchise. Fans of the Merc with a Mouth deserved better, and it's disappointing to see such a promising series take such a significant misstep."

My first review.
I'm not a huge Marvel fan, but I've watched all Deadpool and loved them.
Don't know what it is about this one but I've found it hilarious, and it would seem that whole theatre did as well. All jokes are spot on, acting is awesome (with few exceptions), action is great - all in all a movie I would recommend to anyone who can stomach a bit of adult (and childish) humour and gore.
Story is OK, nothing special, but execution makes up for it. Cameos are, as far as I'm concerned, awesome as well.
And one more thing - pacing is also spot on - 2 hours flew by.
I'll keep it short - just go and watch it!

We saw this at the midnight premiere in imperial Copenhagen, it was a fun experience meeting people in the middle of the night for a new movie, and assembling fans who enjoy this franchise as much as ourselves.
The movie in its entirety was very enjoyable, but it seemed like they just had to come up with something for the fun of it. Don't get me wrong, Ryan Reynolds does a phenomenal job, and the some scenes are just way to hilarious. But it lacked something which i somehow can't explain, it just seemed like they could have come up with a better story imo. But what do I know?
I say go for it, and at least you end up laughing.

It has been a long time since I watched a Deadpool movie and I'd forgotten about the gross humor, the gratuitous violence, the swearing and the breaking of the fourth wall.
It was challenging at first watching Deadpool & Wolverine.
I had to sort of rewire my brain. This is not like anything I've seen recently.
Also, I am totally unfamiliar with the X-men universe. I haven't seen any of the movies and I don't know much at all about Wolverine. That hurt a bit.
However, having watched Loki I knew about the variants and the multiverse and that helped.
The pace of this movie is so fast that it left me feeling old and slow.
Never the less it is really fun and it is really funny. The jokes are hysterical and the very frequent self-aware Deadpool breaking the fourth wall all the time is funny too.
There are so many cameos in this it becomes mind-blowing. Wesley Snipes as Blade and Chris Evan's and Henry Cavill. The list goes on.
There are jokes about Wolverine's costume looking like a an LA Rams uniform, and about shawarma (which I still have never had)
Well... I liked it. It was not overly long. It was not boring. The beloved Brit actor Matthew Macfadyen has a pretty fun role.
Hugh Jackman some of the time seems to be trying not to laugh at Reynolds.
There's a sweet message at the end.
And there's the ugliest dog in the world ("Dogpool").
So I recommend but you probably should have seen the previous two Deadpool movies and I guess maybe Loki S1 first.
Oh yeah. The music. Damn the music throughout is great and the credits at the end finish with "Good Riddance (Time of your life)"

Watched it on IMAX with my parents and it was definitely worth it. It was truly entertaining and fun. Smiling and laughing from the start till the end. Also, I never thought I would see some "old" characters and "old/new" characters in this film. Many easter eggs, if you're that nerd, truly nostalgic. I could say this is one of the best multiverse film ever. Also the soundtrack for this film was great. However, the movie should have been longer because we waited for many years for this prequel. When it ended, it was bittersweet because I grew up with these movies. Thank you Deadpool, our Marvel Jesus.....and Logan, the wrong guy always. :)

Feels live every Marvel movies the same these days. 1 man feeling like an outcast teams up with other super heros to fight an antagonist trying to end the universe only to find out they were never an outcast and are surrounded by love, then add in a million cameos and flashbacks. Great performances by the cast but it doesn't make up for a shoddy story. This movie leans into breaking the 4th wall and the metaverse aspect which made the original unique but now it's the only substance of the movie and has been run into the ground. Loved some of the nostalgia and cameos but honestly thought the best part of the movie was the post credits scene.

Ok after delaying watching this movie at its opening back in July because i never believe all the hype, i finally relented and went to see the thing. Now the only thing going for this movie is the impressive effects you can see alot of money has gone into making this movie .My gripe about this film is the story line .Summed up in one word in my opinion to me the movies is just plain daft. The different time lines ? The different versions of the Wolverine character . Another Marvel movie that comes to mind regarding this topic was the last Spiderman movie when all the actors that potrayed the Spiderman character all appeared in it .To me it just got stupid. As for this latest Deadpool saga Ryan Reynolds quick comedic quips get to be tiresome after a while. At least i did'nt pay to see the thing my wife did.
