In one scene in which Bob Odenkirk's character goes outside to use the bank of pay phones, a blue 1972 Cadillac sedan drives past. The 1972 models would not have been available until August 1971. However, the entire film takes place in June 1971.
The 20th Century Fox logo is shown, but we do not hear the usual fanfare. Instead, we just hear the sound effects of the action in Vietnam which leads into the first scene of the film.
