This anime series is set in the world of anime voice actresses; in particular Chitose Karasuma. She has been working for a year but is getting somewhat jaded as she feels she is better than the minor roles she is getting. Then it looks like she is getting her big break when she lands a main part in an upcoming light novel adaptation. It isn't long before it becomes clear that this will not be a great series and she starts to think about whether to continue in the industry.

This is a solid series that provides plenty of decent laughs but still manages to be a good drama with some downbeat moments as Chitose questions her future as a voice actress. Chitose is a good central character who is supported by a solid secondary cast. These include fellow voice actresses; her brother, who acts as her manager and best of all Kuzu-P the producer who isn't too bothered that the series isn't great so long as he finds ways of monetising it. Overall I'd recommend this for any anime fan looking for a solid comedy/drama set in the world of the entertainment they enjoy.
